I would have really liked this vest, it was just the right length and fit me nicely through hips and chest -- BUT the armholes could have accommodated two of my arms, they were open most of the way to my waist, and this was a petite. Too bad, loved the color but the gaping armholes ruined it for me.

I loved the vest but it was too boxy and not at all flattering. There needs to be stretch on the sides to make it fit better.

Loved the vest however I ended up returning it because it was just to long.

This is a great vest...lightweight, so packable, warm, warm, warm. I do like that it falls below the hip and is a bit longer but because it does not have a two way zipper you have to fold the vest up around your waist when you sit down or bend. I am not shortwaisted, the fit is perfect, but unlike a sweater there is no give when you sit. A two way zipper would solve the problem. Unfortunately, the vest is just not working. It's too bad because it's a great vest.

I bought a petite XXS, but it fit like a petite M. Normally I fit LL Bean PXXS jackets perfectly.

I purchased two vests a number of years ago and I loved the fit. This one is too long for a petite and hits the hips too far down. Please go back to the original fit!!

I returned it because the quality was poor. Not LLBean quality!

I ordered the size recommended for me but it was too big. Also the color was darker than pictured or I would have tried another size. I really liked the color in the photo.

Ran large and the color was not what I expected from online picture.

The zipper, when zipped up, separates and opens at random places below the zipper head

I own several packaway vests , which I love, so I bought another one. Unfortunately, the styling has changed. I have always worn a petite small, but it is now 4" longer, which means it cannot be easily worn under a regular jacket, it is not comfortable to wear while sitting down and it is no longer hourglass shaped, so it does not drape well. Boxy and uncomfortably tight in the hips because it is too long. Disappointed.

As soon as I saw myself in the mirror, I noticed: the chest pocket is just slightly darker or more saturated in color than the quilted fabric. I was so surprised, I went and stood in direct and indirect sunlight at the window, as well as in the artificial lighting at my bathroom vanity to be sure my eyes weren't being deceived. (I also tried taking a photo, but it just looks as if the lighting is off, not the fabric.) I will be returning this garment, because I expected it to have the same careful quality as the jackets, but I don't like having the colors off.

This vest is stylish, slimming and the newer more fitted and longer style. I was really looking forward to wearing it. Unfortunately it does not have a two-way zipper. Since it is relatively form fitting (and I bought the larger of the XS and S I usually wear) and lowish hip length the only way to sit down with it on is to hike it up around your waist. This is problematic in general but especially problematic when wearing it as a layer under a parka. Darn!! will have to return it.

Fit is not flattering for women. Preferred a slim fit but the vest was just a regular fit and bland. The company hasn't refunded me so far and it's been almost 2 full weeks (even though the disclaimer says 1 to 2 weeks). It's always interesting when money is taken quickly but not refunded within the same speed

I have ordered and returned two of these vests because the zippers were defective. LL Bean quality is not what is used to be.

I have 2 black, 1 blue, and 1 cranberry vest. I bought the cranberry two years ago, and the zipper already just pulls apart for no reason. These vests are not tight on me at all, so there has been no undue duress on the zipper. The store said, too bad, it's over a year old! Wow! What has happened to LLBean?

I bought this same vest about 6 years ago which I absolutely loved and has worn out. This new vest feels flimsy and not comfortable and stiff. Very disappointed.

This was poorly designed. Even though I ordered petite, the fit was ridiculous.

The vest was well-made. I returned it because I did not like the way it fit me. I had the very same item 6 years ago, or so, and have worn it practically every day since, so I was disappointed this one fit differently. As an alternative choice, I bought the sweater fleece long vest. It's just about perfect. There is one issue I would like to bring up. I really like two way zippers on jackets and vests. Wish this vest had a two-way zipper, but I'll keep it anyway. Why don't you use more two-way zippers? I really like LL Bean. Your clothes are well-made, and they fit the lifestyle of this part of the country; also like the ease of return.

Very very expensive for the level of warmth. Usually primaloft is reliable but not in this product. $149.00 can get you a jacket or for a little more a down jacket. I just don't understand the pricing for a cool Fall product which it only is.

I've had this vest for about a month now. The first week I wore it the zipper came apart at the bottom. We managed to get it zipped back down and apart. Today it again popped apart at the bottom. I bought a size large as I wanted the vest to be a bit loose. This is an expensive vest and seems to have a very cheap zipper so I'm extremely disappointed and unhappy with this vest. The vest is very comfortable and warm while not bulky which makes the poor quality of zipper even more disappointing.

Am sending green vest back. The photo color you show online & in your survey look nothing like the green vest I received. It was a very Dark green. I am very disappointed especially since I waited soo long to get it! If you can't send me the bright green like the picture, please send me a return label. Thank you. Patty

I did not like the fit-no form fitting for a woman. It was not warm at all with another medium weight hooded jacket underneath. The color was different from picture.
