I got a small petite, and wondered why a vest would need to come in a petite size. I found out. Even the petite is much too long. And it's "slightly fitted at waist," which doesn't work if you don't have one. When zipped up it is too tight around the middle. On the plus side the pinkish color is lovely, and the pockets (the reason I got it) are great. There are three zippered pockets, each large enough to hold cell phone, wallet, car keys and more. And there is an inside zippered pocket that the vest folds into for packing. That gives you a fourth zippered pocket into which a Kindle fits with room to spare. In the end it's worth having for the pockets, even though it's too long.

A great vest, but it needs a two-way zipper. I would have more than one if it did!

Quality does not equal price . Cheap paper-like collar filler. Runs big.

This is my fourth Packaway vest, XS Petite. I really love them as a light layer for both skiing and casual wear over a flannel shirt or nice shirt. The last one I purchased is at least two inches longer than my older vests. I love the color but I am not sure whether I should keep it or not.

Didn't like the shape/fit (even Hubby who doesn't really care or notice these things commented it looked strange and unflattering). Longish. Blob-ish. Green color was nice and I like the zippered pockets. Didn't feel like it'd be all that warm. Even though I knew it'd have the logo on the chest, I really didn't like that. Returned.

It's lovely but this vest is too tight for me in a large and too big in an extra large so I had to return!

Not as full as expected. Definitely made for a taller person.

Nice vest, light weight, but even with a petite, too long. Also, would be better if the zipper were more heavy duty and zipped from the bottom up as well.

I loved the length of this vest. The pockets were appropriate. It is a very light and thin vest due to the insulation of PrimaLoft. The fit on me was somewhat large through the bust, waist, and hips. Because the fit was too large, this vest was not warm. I am returning and selected a puffer vest instead.

I love the vest.... except I wish It had one of those zip up from the bottom zippers so that I could sit down comfortably with the vest on.

The fit and color are great! It's a little too thin for winter!

Vest sizes does not correspond to sizing chart shown on LL Bean website. I am 35 x 26 x 35 and should wear an X-Small. Although the vest is made well, even the X-Small is too big! I am returning.

The material is nice but I was surprised the Small fit larger than expected even in Petite. Result is frumpy. The bottom does fall below the hip. Also, the silver blue is more like a foggy day blue-green, darker than pictured. Considered exchanging for XSP but the Petite cuts don't seem correctly proportioned to true Petites. Don't want to risk having to return a second item.

The color, quality and fit of this vest were perfect, but the collar was much bigger than any other vests I wear. I wanted to keep it but every time I tried it on I was irritated by the collar. Sadly, I decided to return it.

Great material, lightweight and warm. Good pockets. But it's simply too boxy, too big around my girth, and too long. I was hoping for a more fitted style.

Great vest in general. I like the thin layer and I am fine with the longer length since I'm tall (and it is still long on me), but it is way too wide. I'm a pretty standard medium and this medium was far too big.

The ivory was a beautiful color and super soft fabric (I have other items in this same fabric) but the top part was too big and it was too boxy in the waist. Darn!

The vest fit well, was comfortable and super lightweight. The big problem was that it was not warm enough. I knew if I had my fleece vest on, I would be warmer and more comfortable with the temperature. I got the vest for a trip. It packs great, easy to travel with, just not enough warmth for me. Add more fill please! I plan on returning it and sticking with my fleece vest for now.

i love vests, and really wanted this one to fit, but it was just too long for me. nice for warmth i'm sure, but i hike and didnt think i would be happy with that low on my thighs.

The top portion is just as described. The lower torso/hip portion is sized larger, proportionately. It seems to me the color of the vest is not the same as shown above- not a bright.

I am always cold and love having a vest nearby. I had a cheap black one from a couple years ago that was starting to look ratty. I decided to treat myself and buy a good one. This one is long (which I like). I ordered a size smaller than I usually wear because my usual size was huge - I bought and had to return. It works well for keeping me warm at work and when I'm out. I also layer it with a puffer coat for very cold days. My main complaint is that the outer fabric isn't holding up well. It already looks worn (after a month of wearing) and is so thin that I am very cautious with it. My mom has a dog that jumps and I purposely don't wear it to her house because I am afraid it will rip. I wouldn't buy again.

Not worth the money It ran large, and long, even though I got the petite. For this amount of money it also should've had more pockets. Color was not as vibrant as I hoped. I returned it.
