This jacket is great by itself or as a layer for colder weather. It is perfect for in between cold weather in the Midwest. The color and fit are flattering.

Another great L.L. Bean jacket. It's just exactly right for slightly cooler weather. It fits well and is very becoming. I would buy it again in a heartbeat.

I don't like the feel of a heavy jacket. Prefer to dress in layers. Even though I live in the Northeast it's warm enough to wear going from the car to the store. I have bought 4 of these Jackets.

Bought his- and hers-versions of this coat for a backpacking trip to Olympic. Wore them every single day. They fold up nicely and very compact into their own pocket and doubled as a camping pillow. Kept us comfortable in temps ranging between 45-65, and I think it will serve us well for a long time after our trip too (just not in the dead of New England winters).

I love this jacket! It is somehow warm and cool at the same time. I purchased it for a trip to California to see Yosemite and Sequoia National Parks and it was perfect on the plane as well as on the trails. I wore it when the mornings were cool and squished it down in my daypack when the sunshine warmed me up. Great jacket!

Absolutely my new favorite jacket. Fit is perfect and style is slimming. Wore it everyday on trip to UK in May and never was cold.

I have this Primaloft Packaway Jacket in three light colors. It is an excellent lightweight standalone jacket for cool spring and fall weather, and in colder weather, I like to wear it under a coat for additional warmth. Unlike a sweater, the smooth fabric slides on easily. I especially appreciate the four well-placed pockets that are all large enough for a max-size iPhone. Petite medium fits me perfectly - including shoulder width and sleeve length.

This is the third PimaLoft jacket I've bought. The first two (black and light blue) are still serviceable after 2 years of frequent wearing as a stand-alone jacket, an indoor chilly-day sweater, and as a raincoat liner. Both were size XL. To reward myself for some weight loss, I bought a light lavender one in size L. In fact I'm wearing it (as a sweater) right now. The new one, I believe, has less filling than the ones from two years ago; it's not quite as warm. But I love the color, the fit, and the lightness of it. Also, I like the chest pocket which is good for my phone when out on a walk.

Light weight. Comfortable. Water repellent. Good fit. I am 5'4" and weigh 140 pounds. I purchased a regular size large. The vintage lavender color is gorgeous.

FABULOUS jacket! I've worn it every day since I bought it. It's lightweight and not bulky but very warm for changeable spring weather. It also has 4 zippered pockets, 2 inside and 2 out. I no longer worry about losing my keys and phone while walking my dog. It's really great at wind proofing and is packable, so easy to take along "just in case". Definitely would recommend this. I also like the color combination of steel blue/orange. I live in New England where weather changes on a dime and is very unpredictable. Great jacket for that.

I love everything about this jacket - the color, the shape, its light weight and comfort. It adds just the right warmth over a sweater for spring weather in Virginia - without bulk. I Hesitated to get it because it is somewhat pricey, but I am glad I did. It really hits the spot!

Very comfortable and very well made. I bought a size small and it fits perfectly, not tight or loose. I recommend buying it.

I've never owned prima loft. I've been a "down only" girl for all my years. But I figured maybe it was time to try it and save a few bucks. I figured I'd use it when it's chilly but not 17 degrees out. I live in the Albany, NY area. Well I have to say I've been loving this jacket. It's very lightweight and certainly warm enough - in fact, I'm sure I'll wear it next winter too. The fit is comfortable. I'm not hot while in a store ! It's Roomy without being stocky or shapeless. You can draw the strings by the waist for a little tighter fit. The collar is comfortable, zipper works perfectly, the length is neither too long nor too short! Sleeve length is great as well. LL Bean gets an A+ on this one! Now I'm trying to decide whether to try a down sweater! Maybe next season.

This jacket is the perfect weight and warmth for early spring and fall temps. It packs easily and doesn't wrinkle. Lots of pockets with zippers for phone, keys, billfold etc. Great jacket - highly recommend.

Fits well and has room for layering with a fleece pullover or vest yet is not too bulky to wear under a rain shell. Got this for times when my down jacket is too warm. This jacket is perfect for days in the 30's and 40's. I like that it packs into its own pocket and is very light. For size reference, I'm 5'3", weigh 180 and bought a 1x.
