Bought this for an upcoming trip. Needed something for the rain but lightweight and will pack easily. This fit just fine. Wore it once to make sure it will work and not disappointed.

Bought this jacket for a trip to Ireland. While not lined it was great for putting over a heavy sweatshirt as there was enough room (I bought slightly large) . It helped keep the rain out and had two great pockets for cell phone and other things. Light enough to pack for a hike and put over other garments. Keeps you dry. Good hiking jacket. Loved it so much I'm buying my daughter one!

I want to thank LL Bean for bringing back this jacket back in a petite size. The navy color goes with everything. Very practical piece for wind and light rain. It would be great to have this jacket in a few other colors. I would even like a super bright color for biking.

This is my second windbreaker (what we used to call these). I have an LL Bean XL from years ago I still use and this new L is a very attractive fit and perfect for biking, birding, and kayaking in spring and cool summer weather and also early fall - I LOVE it! So lightweight - and never have to worry about car keys or camera battery because the zip pocket is huge and very useful! Also love the big Bean logo! Proud to wear it - thanks!

I love this, I wear this a lot! Even in 70 degree weather. I'm a large woman and I will say this looks great on and it does not make me sweat. I have received compliments from every person I've met telling me this jacket looks great on me. Btw it is so comfortable to wear, the fabric feels great, it blocks the wind. I use it a lot when we fly our cub airplane and while I'm geocaching. This is great for trips and packs away well and stores well, it doesn't weigh much. I just love this jacket so much.

I wear this coat for my spring/fall and rainy summer walks. I like that the material is not crinkly when I move. It does an excellent job keeping me dry and protecting me from the wind. The front pocket is very useful. I can put my cell phone in there and other items, so I don't need to wear a small backpack or fanny pack. The zipper goes all the up to my chin.

This truly is as advertised, a classic. My teenaged daughter loves it. It's great looking and performs well in inclement weather as a windbreaker and shields her from rain. She'll have it for years to come -- as long as she doesn't misplace it!

I wanted something with a zip pocket to keep needed accessories at hand during a 15 hour flight to Hong Kong and to avoid getting up and down to get stuff from the overhead bin. Once we arrived, I was so happy to have this jacket as my purse became too heavy to carry and putting the few necessities into the zip pocket was so much easier. The weather was mild, a little rainy and a little windy, the jacket was perfect as I could layer up and was comfortable the whole time

I wore this on a recent trip to Cozumel and it was the perfect weight. Not too heavy, not too light. It is not 100% waterproof but it does keep water off if you are caught in a drizzle. Perfect for both the chilly airport and sea breezes. My absolutely FAVORITE thing about it is the large zippered "kangaroo pocket" in the front. I kept all our passports, papers, sunglasses and even snacks in this pocket. I felt very safe having all my valuables close at hand and didn't even have to bring a purse. Love it. Would recommend it to any traveler who likes to pack light!

Absolutely love these anoraks. This is my third purchase and I couldn't be happier. They're lightweight, and make a great extra layer. They're on the bigger side, but don't look frumpy or obnoxiously huge. 10/10 would recommend.

I wear a Medium in almost everything I wear and this fits perfect. I wear a thick long sleeve shirt (when its cold) under it or short sleeve and still plenty of room. Love the light weight yet still blocks all wind and rain. Wish LLB would make these in the fleece/cotton material but light weight. I would purchase one in every color. I am from KY and I wear this year round; not just during the winter. That's why I like it so much. I purchased both colors and for my daughters as well. Can't say enough GREAT things about this pull-over.

Although the sleeves were too long, I sew so can easily fix that. It seems to run a little large, but that doesn't bother me.

This anorak was exactly what I expected! It's cute, simple, lightweight, and functional. I actually bought two-- one in black and one in navy. The fabric is great quality, but like I said, it's lightweight, so I wouldn't count on it keeping me warm in the winter without some layers. It runs big, so I'd recommend sizing down if you want a fit more like the model's. I'm usually a Medium, but the Small is a perfect relaxed fit for me.

At 5'5" and 132 lbs, I got this in a black Medium, and it fits nicely with a light layer, such as a long-sleeved tee or shirt with a vest. With a fleece or sweater underneath, or if you have wide hips, a Large would be more comfortable. It looks great, not too boxy or bulky, and I like the long front zipper and the kangaroo pocket. It's a blast from the past!

I LOVE this jacket. I bought it big to fit over sweaters. It is soft and doesn't make the crinkly loud sounds some other materials make. It will be great year round since it breathes and doesn't hold in heat. For the record- I have very broad shoulders and still had plenty of room. Quality is very good. I live in south so we don't have too many extremely cold days. Hope this helps.

I saw this jacket in a sale flyer from LL Bean. As I am a frugal girl, I waited until it was on sale (teachers discount) and bought it. I loved it so much, I bought the green jacket and leave it in our motorhome for when we go camping. It keeps its shape even after washing and keeps you dry in light showers.

Bought this for my girlfriend as a gift. She really loves it. It's definitely a spring jacket as it doesn't provide any kind of insulation, so be aware of that. We love how it looks. Very trendy. Good especially if you have a more androgynous style. The petite sizing was perfect for someone who is 5'2. Can't wait to get more use out of it once the weather warms up.

I bought a version of this jacket years ago and wanted to replace it but got much more that I expected - this is a far superior version, super comfortable, lightweight, good looking and a perfect fit. I should probably go ahead and order another one, have a feeling this will get a ton of wear.

This anorak is perfect for cooler days and overcast/light rain climates. I agree with other users who say that it's a good top layer for moderate activity like walking, biking, light hiking, etc. It does get wet and soak through in heavy rain - just something to be mindful of if you're looking for a waterproof outer layer. The Reg Small was very roomy which means room for a sweater/midlayer underneath. The pockets and packable feature of this anorak are also a super plus. I ordered the olive color and I absolutely love it. I would recommend this for anyone who is looking for a light outer layer. I absolutely love it and wear it every chance I get!

Great for top layer when I'm getting in my morning walk, large enough to add layers underneath. Drawstring at the hem means I don't get cold winds blowing up jacket.
