I ordered this as a light layer to throw on in the evenings during a beach vacation. It was the perfect lightweight layer to cut a slight chill and block the wind. It is a sturdy fabric and well-constructed, but soft and comfortable. It is roomy enough to wear over a thin layer but not too baggy. It is also nice that it folds into the front pocket to make it compact. My husband loved it so much he is going to order the men's version for himself!

I love how this jacket fits! It's keeps me cozy! I'm excited to take it camping and hiking. Love the pockets too! It's big enough to fit a cashmere sweater under it as well.

It's cute. It's comfortable. I'm able to layer it on cooler days, but it's breathable for the early summer temps. What more could you possibly want? I haven't taken it out in a steady rainstorm, but it wicks away the precipitation from passing showers no problem! Love, love, love this jacket.

I purchased the women's mountain classic anorak to wear out fishing on the lake. We often go in the evening and living in Northeast Ohio, it can get quite chilly. I have worn this pullover several times now and I cannot say enough great things about it. It is waterproof, windproof and keeps me nice and warm on cool evenings (around 45-50 degrees). This pullover seems to run true to size, as I generally wear a large in outerwear. I am 5'5 and size 12/14 and the fit was perfect through the shoulders and chest and across the tummy. I also really like the longer length, as I can wear this with leggings. The kangaroo pocket in the front is great as well. I have a feeling this is going to a be a staple for spring/fall.

This was a gift for our daughter.. she's 28 and walks a lot.. she said it was perfect.. not to heavy - she loved it.

This is a great light jacket especially on windy wet Spring days. I think this will be perfect for chilly Summer evenings as well.

I'm a huge fan of bean boots but have never tried LLBean clothing or jackets. This was my first and I love it! It fits true to size, is lightweight and folds up small. As a petite person I hesitate to buy jackets online but the petite sizing is excellent. The pockets are my favorite part. Easy to carry your phone, COVID mask (haha), etc. Note that it is not a rain jacket but fine in a light drizzle. Great wind resistance and the hood has good coverage/doesn't fall down.

I ordered a petite large so I can layer with a sweater if needed. Classic design. Great fit.

Had been wanting this black anorak for a while and finally bought it during a sale! I love it! So far I've mainly worn it hiking as it goes with all my hiking tights/pants/etc. but it looks very stylish (more so than the picture indicates I think) and I would have no problem wearing it out and about. The only thing I will say is I bought the medium and I can probably layer it with a thin sweatshirt but I would buy a size up if I were really going to bulk up underneath it.

Love this jacket. Wore it on a very windy day and it kept the cold wind out. Hood is super comfy!

Loved the jacket for walks around for spring and fall. I bought mine a littler larger since I do like them baggy. Glad I did. Maybe a tish small if I had bought my original size. Wear it all the time.

Overall I'm very happy with my anorak purchase! I bought it with the intent of wearing it on my morning runs but it has become a go to in my wardrobe! The material is breathable and repels water nicely, and looks super cute! I ordered with the intention of wearing layers underneath and sized up to a large, and it's a true large. I think if I went with my typical size medium I would still have more than enough room for layering! Awesome buy and the packable option is great too! Love it!

This jacket is perfect for spring time hiking!! I got the large as I like a roomy fit and it was just what I wanted.

I love this Mountain Classic Anorak. The fit is perfect. The zipper is long enough to make it easy to put it on and take it off. I like the kangaroo pocket in the front. I only wish it would come in more plain color options instead of the color block versions.

This jacket is perfect for cooler days. I love to throw it on and go for a long walk. Fits perfect! I wore it and my friend insisted on buying it as well. Definitely my favorite jacket!

I am usually between a small and a medium on outerwear because I have small hips but broad shoulders. The medium fits just right. It's perfect for layering and it has adjustable elastic on the bottom so it doesn't look like I'm swimming in it. Nice and long even though I have a long torso!

I've had this jacket for a number of years and it continues to be my "go to" jacket at home and traveling. This is always in my suitcase whenever I travel. It is the best layer for any activity. It fits loose and big but doesn't look like a sack. I love that it packs into its own pocket so it stuffs easily into a backpack. The kangaroo pocket is big enough for a water bottle and a snack. The open pocket is deep enough that things don't fall out - and it keeps my hands warm. It's comfortable and looks good. Last year I also bought the insulated version. That is great too!
