Only had the jacket a short time but so far very pleased with the jacket. Does a good job keeping me dry while I I walk our dog on rainy days

Have had many rain jackets as runner, expensive Gortex to average price nylon. This may be my best bang for buck for rain jacket ever!

This is a great light jacket. It serves as an outer layer when the rain isn't too much. Snow too. I wear it all the time hiking in winter New Hampshire.

I've been using my old Anorak forever in drizzly and wet conditions. It works for a little then eventually soaked thru since it wasn't waterproof. I was always under the impression raincoats get sticky and sweaty underneath, especially on strenuous activities. And boy, was I wrong!! This Cresta Rain Jacket is light, breathable, and kept me bone dry on a 6 hour hike in Franconia's steady wind and rain. The ventilation pockets under the arms were a lifesaver on the assent! Also, the hood is one of my only hoods I can comfortably wear without it falling down over my eyes. My only regret is waiting this long to get one!

Returned a previous rain jacket that I didn't feel was doing its job. That one got many great reviews. Perhaps mine was the exception. This Cresta Stretch Rain Jacket - so far - is OUTSTANDING! It was a bit more expensive but apparently much more worth it! I live in the PNW and so far when I'm wearing it the rain is giving me the respect I deserve!

Bought the large tall and it fit perfect. Wore the earlier version for 10 plus years and it was great. Hesitant to buy a new one but the rain proofing a the back of the neck on the old one wore out. Took the new one out on the Gore Range trail for a backpacking trip. Worked great. Also was quieter - new fabric a bit more comfortable than old one. One drawback - muted mud colors on all but the the lime green jacket. Bright colors helpful when hiking through elk hunters (don't shoot us..!) or getting separated on the trail (lost?). So miss the bright red I used to have. Other than that a great rain coat - light and comfortable. But blocks wind and rain quite well. Thanks Bean.

Great fit, lightweight and very comfortable. For myself I found wearing a baseball cap, the hood fits easily. It's a little costly, but you do get what you pay for. I'd purchase this again in a heartbeat.

I ordered the XL Tall originally and it was to small for me. It is a slim fit so I ordered a XXL Tall and the fit is great. LLBean Products always are the highest quality.

Great fit, nice design well executed. But pretty expensive for a rain coat. Hopefully it will work well for years. I look sharp in the steel blue color. ;-)

I think it is confusing to tell what the difference between this and the H2off, which is priced about the same. Both are very expensive jackets. I get the feeling the H2off is a better rain jacket, but ONLY because of the name. This one stretches. Does the H2off not stretch? See my point? Frankly, for almost $200 any "breathable/waterproof jacket I buy should say Goretex on it. I've never found anything called "Tek" to be that great. It sounds cheap. In any case both of these new jackets should be great improvements over the Trail Model rain jacket, which is not a dry jacket at all. But at nearly $200?

Like the style, green color, adjustable wrist size, large pockets lined and zippered air vents for the price. It is a very good wind breaker and rain jacket. Concerned about use of glue in some seems.

Serviceable. This is not as good as your OE232 Gortex jackets of many years ago. I miss the interior lining, ability to stowaway and the tighter snap pattern. I doubt this will hold up like those did.

Good fabric. Nice color. Took 1 star off as chest width is slightly tight for an XL. Other wise does the job.

Nice coat; wish it had more inside pockets and the hood would stow away.

Great for kayaking and recreational hiking. Not for drenching rain. Perfect for wind and light rain. This is not totally waterproof but it breathes well and is great for movement. Sure beats a plastic raincoat!

Great rain jacket, yet not worth the price. The non-stretch rain jacket seem to provide better protection and has more user friendly pockets.

I got the jacket for my grandson who left Hawaii to go to school in Vancouver. He seemed happy with the jacket.

Works well when all zipped, but vented pockets don't help in the cold without gloves. Great in the rain.

Good jacket. At 5'10'' and 175#, the medium fits well and fits a medium weight fleece underneath. Perfect. The stretch is an added bonus. The pit zips are actually more like side pockets on the side of the jacket, not in the armpit, which I've never seen before and question the effectiveness. When new, it is repelling water well, but I know that will take constant maintenance to remain effective. Light weight and sturdy, but would appreciate an extra layer over shoulders and at elbows for more durability (and well, yes, more weight).

Have not used this as temperature has been too warm and little rain to merit taking it out. Purchased it to have a compact pack-able rain coat for a LL Bean Kayak trip. Fit seems great
