Really nice midweight fleece jacket. Perfect for plane travel. Chest pocket with zipper handles passport and ticket access nicely. Side pockets with zippers are deep enough for wallet and smartphone to keep them secure but easily accessible. And being windproof is a huge plus on windy days. Very comfortable and stylish too.

The jacket was purchased for a gift. It fit beautifully and looked warm and comfy.

I got this for my husband as a gift and he loves it. He's a big-time skier downhill, backcountry, and Nordic and said it's good for all of them. And to top it off it looks really nice. He's about 6 feet tall and slender, and got the Large/ tall. It seems very true to size. He absolutely loves it.

I received this jacket in black as a gift about 3 years ago now and it is my go-to zip up fleece day-to-day in the PNW. It layers well, looks great, has washed and worn well over several years, and I liked it so much I now have it in a couple colors and fortuitously found it in a pullover version (no longer sold at LL Bean) on eBay that I snapped up and love. Oppositely to another recent reviewer, I have found a lot of LL Bean apparel to be massively oversized for me, a 5'10" 160 lb male. I have this in Regular Medium and I appreciate that this fleece is not super large, fits me well but with comfortable room for a t-shirt and pullover fleece beneath, has a drawstring hem (not a lot of other LL Bean fleeces do), is consistent in sizing (i.e. all 3 in the same size that I own fit very similarly, not all brands do) and I quite like the chest pocket for holding my wallet. Also I have long arms for my size (34-35 sleeve), and this fleece fits me well in that regard too. My only requests would be to see it in more colors (dark green would be nice), and to bring back the pullover version too. As I said in the title, excellent for me in every way, I've added it to my wish list in yet another color for Christmas. Cheers

Great fit. Tall arm length is perfect. Windproof for light winds. Heavy cold winds require the use of a shell to block the wind. Still a great light jacket

not your usual jacket, great one with wind protection at all times!

We really like the wind proof feature of this jacket. It can be used in much cooler temperatures than ordinary fleece. When used together with a fall jacket it becomes a good winter jacket as well.

I purchased a similar jacket from LL Bean, but although it looked great, was not suited for even light winds. There is No such downside to this jacket which I wear from 50 degrees & up. I bought two, one for Maine cottage & one for my permanent home in RI.

Great fall jacket. 45 degrees out this morning and didn't feel cold at all. So far the wind has not been an issue but I haven't worn it in a heavy wind yet.

This product has its insulation on the outside!Unusual!The fleece has an insulated checkerboard pattern on the outside!I assure you that it is absolutely windproof.Even on my back.With a sweater you can wear it to freezing.It stops the wind right where it starts.Outside!Amazing!

Well-made and comfortable mid-weight jacket. True to size.

Bought a woman's style 8 years ago for me and last winter one for my husband. They cover your entire torso and hips which really makes a difference. Get a bit bigger if you plan to layer underneath. They are warm, lots of pockets for a phone, some cash or CC. Zipper never fails. Have never had to launder. Blocks wind beautifully and are WARM! Living in Maine, on a hill, with a big north wind they are perfect.

Warm, comfy and light. Definitely a keeper. I can sense the durability in the overall makeup. So I imagine I'll have it for years to come.

The fleece jacket is handsome, rugged and great for travel. Can look classy too for going out to casual dinner or going on a hike. Roomy. Originally ordered a size M and had to return and reorder in a size S. For reference, my husband is 5'8" and 140 pounds.
