Its fit was on the large side but it varied a great deal from the last windproof jacket I bought some years ago. The material seemed thin and flimsy and the quality had declined. Disappointing.

A good jacket that does exactly what it is made to do. However, I wish it could be redesigned so the wind stop material could be on the inside of the jacket, particularly in the sleeves, to make it easier to get on and off. Everyone who has any fleece pullover knows that they work great, but are a bear to get on and off.

The product quality is excellent however the jacket is definitely not true to size.... the size I purchased should have been big for me however it was too small

I am 5' 11" and 200lbs. and this jacket fits fairly tight through the shoulders with not much give or flex at all, which causes it to be tight in the armpit area as well. All though i am kind of a broad shouldered guy, an XL would have been to big. But it it is a good looking jacket so I just deal with it. If i had known, I probably would not have bought it.

If this was available in the stripe/waffle pattern without the lame flat pocket on it I would own several.

I've had three previous versions of this jacket. The others were much nicer than this one. The sleeves on this one are very narrow. In spite of me having pencil arms, it is difficult to put on without pulling my shirt sleeves up. The fabric is a bit funky, I really prefer the old fabric. But overall, this type of jacket is now very difficult to find, so I'm glad I got it. In retrospect, I wish I had bought a couple of the older ones! Other than the sleeves, the jacket fits well. It's a L tall, and I'm 6'5" 200 pounds.

Too much polyester (100%) does not wear well on an old man! I returned it for something with cotton plus.

The fleece material works great at stopping the wind, but this jacket has a serious flaw: The sleeves are unlined, and the internal polyester fabric is like velcro with long-sleeved flannel or corduroy shirts. You will struggle to get it on and off. If you only wear short-sleeved shirts under it, no problem.

It could be a bit larger. An earlier model of a windproof jacket accommodated layering much better, especially in the sleeves. It is as wind resistant as the previous iteration.

Size "small" (regular) fits someone who is 6 feet tall and very thin. The arm length and body length are about 5 inches too long for a small man who is 5'6" and 145 lb. - totally ridiculous fit. I can't imagine what a "tall" size must look like. Fortunately, I was able to give this to my son who is 6' tall and 130 lb. It fit him perfectly.

Sleeves are OK on a bare arm but too tight on an arm with a shirt with sleeves. Fit at waist is very snug. Wind protection is nice. Softness could be greater. Will probably wear it less and less and give it away. Second purchased LL Bean fleece jacket that is not very soft.

I returned the jacket today. Two things I will critique about the jacket. I wear a large but it was on the slim size. Also if you had a long sleeve shirt on it would pull the sleeve up your arm.

Quality is fine, but fleece is not supple enough to be fully comfortable.

like almost all LLBEAN clothing for tall guys; this jacket is perfect on length. The problem I have with the jacket is its not very roomy for wider shouldered gentlemen I recommend going 1 size up from what you think you need.

I really wanted to keep this one, but the boxy body just didn't work for me. Weight and quality were otherwise on point. An 'athletic' or slim-ish fit would be a welcome addition. Lots of extra fabric around the waist.

i bought this solely to stop wind. for me it does not. if wind is light ok. but when i walk in 15 MPH or higher...i had to put base layers on. i went out and bought a wool hoodie..base layer...this makes all the difference. it is nice looking. Sleeves are 2 inches toooo long. it has been great on 40 degree days or higher. i thought this to replace a soft shell...but it does not. life is an experience...you must do to discover !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I like the style but not the fit. I original purchase this in Large but it was too tight in the arms. I sent it back and paid the mailing fee and ordered the extra large which was better. However not very happy with the fit and wearable feel. It pulls and fights the underlying clothing especially in the sleeve and arm pit. Would be more practical if they had line the Jacket with nylon to help slide and fit over the cloths or at least in the sleeves and arm pits.

I have a pretty good sized assortment of LARGE sized LLBEAN flannel shirts, Hurricane jackets, fleece, etc. This fleece is by far the smallest Tall/Large item I have ever received from LLBEAN and tight enough that I shall return it ...Quality seems to be intact, but I really only had it on for ~1 hour

I love the design features, performance features, styling, and color. However, it is oddly tailored. I normally wear a size large in US shirts and jackets and XL in European shirts and jackets. I am known for having a slim underdeveloped chest and arms, but slightly broad shoulders. The size large in this jacket fit like a medium in the upper third - 1.5" too narrow for my shoulders and a small sleeve diameter that caused even a thin baselayer to catch. Even wearing just a short sleeved t-shirt restricted my arm movements. The middle third of the jacket was fit like a fitted size large; the bottom hem fit like an XL (too big even for my gut), but was fine since the jacket has a drawstring. The size XL shoulder width was perfect for me. The upper third and arms fit like a slightly tapered large and was good. The bottom third was way to large - at least a size up from XL. I really wanted this jacket to work, but the fit was just too odd for me and I had to return both the Large and XL. FYI, the size Large L.L. Bean "Quick Dry Trail Tee Short-Sleeve Men's Regular" seems to fit me fine. My intended use was travel, trail, and casual use. This jacket is recommended if you have skinny arms and chest in combination with a slightly above average sized waist. If it fits you, it's an awesome jacket - great with an L.L. Bean PrimaLoft Packaway Vest.

The jacket's sleeves were too long with no elastic to keep them in place.

I am very dissppinted, i love the design and look but the jacket is not beathable and creates a layer of sweat and water inside and then takes a while to dry I will be returning it soon Very dissapointed

I wanted to like this jacket, but the sleeves are very narrow and the interior of the sleeves is very sticky. Pulling this jacket on over a sweater or chamois shirt is hopeless. Unless you want the entire sweater sleeve covering your triceps. Worn alone over a t-shirt this is probably a great product.

I bought this a while ago, I love the windproof but don't like the waffle pattern. I have a very old windproof jacket, it doesn't have any patterners and love it.
