good jacket warm

I was looking for a warm, light jacket that minimized the effects of windy conditions for a trip to Iceland. This jacket did the trick. It was light, fit well but loose enough to accommodate additional layers. I felt the price was fair due to the wind stopping ability. I plan to use it later this year when I visit Yellow Stone Park in the winter.

Athletically built frame. Slightly fitted is perfect and this was no different. The waffle weave is extremely warm. Shockingly so. With the wind-roof aspect, it could replace a much warmer jacket for most of spring and fall. I like the full zip. Same jacket in 1/4 wouldn't be nearly as versatile or comfortable.

I HAVE WORN LL BEANS FLEECE JACKETS FOR MANY YEARS. THEY ARE MY GO TO JACKET. THEN I SAW THIS NEW JACKET THAT HAD A REALLY GREAT LOOK. I LOVE THE THREE DIMENSIONAL LOOK ON THE FRONT. THE JACKET IS A LITTLE HEAVIER WHICH IS A NICE PLUS.

The windproof fleece is not heavy, about like the old 200 weight. This will be a warm jacket. Stitching is thorough and clean. Front zipper is flat type, not the weaker coil type. Not fond of contrasting llbean labels on clothes. They're gone now: snip snip.

bought this for my son who will only wear a fleece jacket. He does not like the little rectangle pattern but I think they make the jacket look nicer. He says it does seem to be windproof which was the main reason I purchased this jacket

My mom sent me the windproof jacket in blue for my birthday and I couldn't be happier. It is made well, as one would expect because it is LL Bean, and I've received a ton of compliments on it's looks. I like it so much I ordered one in black and one in white. The white is on backorder until June but it is definitely worth the wait. This mid-weight jacket is great for cool days. It fits as one would expect. It looks great with jeans, shorts, and business casual. This product is two-thumbs up!

Love that it's not bulky and functions as a wind blocker. Black color is matte, very soft. Cut and fit are good. It's well made and looks very nice on my husband. He says he likes it!

This is a great chilly weather jacket - great for those chilly days when a windbreaker is not enough and a squall jacket is too much! Casual, but dressy, all around style!

Had this jacket years ago and then they were not available. So glad to have one again. Like the handy chest pocket. I can fit a light weight down jacket under this jacket for 20 degree weather. Nice material. Soft and pliable and yet total wind blocking. Live in the VERY WINDY mountains of Northern Arizona and this is perfect for our weather.

If you want a weather proof fleece look no further, this jacket is thick and substantial, if you have a little collection of fleece jackets the this would make a nice addition, have worn this in the wind and rain and it held up well, kept me warm and dry,

I bought this originally in black. I'm 5'8. 175lbs. I like the fit and look. So because LL gives 15% healthcare worker discount (for those that don't know) and received a $10 gift card for buying in black, I bought the blue as well. I like windproof in my fleece. For those windy 40 degree days it's nice to have.

Perfect transition jacket for New England fall and spring weather. Fits under the Baxter Mountain Coat for deep winter. My son loves this item.

This jacket is thick and comfy, but runs way small. He usually wears a medium to large. We bought a large to start with and then had to return it for an X-large. This one fits fine, but is none too large at all. (normally an X-large would be way too big) So... order at least one size up
