I bought two jackets in rust orange. After having been washed twice, they continue to shed orange fibers everywhere they go. While I have returned them, the bright orange fibers spread throughout my house will remind me of our time together.

Wore it once and it's shedding absolutely everywhere. I'm going to have to vacuum out my car because of how much orange fuzz there is all over my seat and seatbelt. Afraid to wash it because it would probably fall apart! Absolutely DO NOT buy this item.

The recycled polyester liner stuck to the underlying garments, making removal difficult.

I have 2 of these jackets I bought a few years ago. Great jackets. I recently bought 2 more. I sent them back. Material and fit have changed. Not improved.

Well made, sizing is way off and runs very small so order at least one size up

Sheds like crazy. Left fuzz all over my other clothes. Come on LL Bean you need to correct this or discontinue this product. Not cool

The fleece is flaking off now. I have little blue threads all over the place

This jacket is not long enough to be labeled "long". Very disappointed with the description of the sizing.

Not proportioned to be a true tall size. Not longer than not tall size

This thing is awful. I have orange fuzz and piling on my shirts, pants, car seat, and any other garment it touches! I washed it once to help but it helped not at all.

I bought the light blue jacket and it is shedding so bad I don't think there will be anything left by next year. I feel like I brought an invasive species into my home.

Wore this one time. Sheds microfiber on everything. Two weeks after wearing still finding microfibers on dashboard and crevices if my car. Afraid to wash it so much material is coming off. Material is soft. Fits well. Disappointed with LL Bean quality and testing department on this choice of fabric.

Fleece is not the same L.L. Bean quality. Style is exactly what I wanted, but it doesn't hold up. Customer service is always AWESOME and Bean stands behind their product. Easy returns. I continue to enjoy much of their gear. This just happened to be a quality issue I'm sure they will have corrected in no time!

This jacket to pills after initial wash. The zipper sticks becuase of design with respect to material.

Jacket came apart in the washer. Don't buy if you want quality.

The first time i wore this blue fleece jacket my shirt and car seat were covered in blue lint. I called Bean about this and was told to wash it. Since I have washed it, I have yet to wear it. (too cold outside) I will post an update after wearing it. I noticed there were other reviews mentioning the same thing.

same as my previous order for a color of a different jacket that was described as tan but arrived as green and this jacket that was ordered as black and showed up as green. I am embarrassed to continue to be a customer and will shortly discontinue ordering

The cuff stitching unravels and does not hold the trim to the bottom of the sleeves. Sections of the sleeve material have inadequate overlap to hold the stitching in place.

Gift for my husband. Pils terribly. Not the usual Bean quality. Also seemed to run small--not comparably sized with other Bean men's clothing.

Long time customer. Ordered XL to replace similar LLB jacket. Sleeves were so long I couldn't see my fingers. No elastic to hold sleeves in place at wrists. Immediately returned. Kept my old LLB jacket which has correct sleeve lengths and comfortable elastic wrist bands.

I always had good experiences with LL Bean products in the past so when I purchased the Mountain Classic Fleece I was excited about it. It fit well and seemed to be well made...until I took it off. The fabric sheds lots and lots of lint fibers. The shirt I was wearing underneath was covered in fine shiny lint fibers. I washed and dried the jacket figuring it would take out the excess lint...I figured wrong. It shed just as much lint as before. I put the jacket straight into the garbage. I was supremely shocked and disappointed in this product.

Seriously?! Why can't LL Bean stick to the classics? Why does almost every item have to be made for a skinny guy running a marathon in December? I think there might be only one full zip fleece still available in a "traditional fit." In the catalog, LL Bean loves to say "now in sizes for everyone" but this is just not the case!

I just bought this fleece and was really excited when it arrived. It came on Friday and by Sunday it was already falling apart after 1 wear. See pic below

I didn't like this fleece at all. It looks cheap, but isn't. It doesn't compare with Sweater Fleece materials and is only slightly less expensive.
