I previously purchased a vest made out of the same material and it worked very well. It gets quite cold up here in Minnesota, so you need this type of gear to prepare for winter. The jacket has reasonable area for storage, looks good, and is excellent as a jacket or layer during those very cold snow blowing events. Well Done.

Having grown up in southern Maine, LL Bean always was THE BRAND you wanted for Christmas. It remains an iconic brand name that says HIGH QUALITY. I love Bean's clothes and footwear. Just lately I binged on a few items in anticipation of the cold winter months here in my adopted home state of Vermont. This fleece is great and I almost wish I had every color but my special lady friend thinks that would be psycho so I'm making due (for now.)

Bought this for extended travel in cool climate. Packs easily, lightweight, but keeps you warm.

I love the product, but the newer fleece items do not have elastic cuffs as the old ones do. If you have short arms you may have to get the sleeves shortened. I have 2 older ones, orange and dark green, that i wear shoveling and snow blowing. They are still warm with a Bean turtleneck and scarf.

My wife and I recently went on a cruise to Alaska. It was cool and a little damp in most places with the temperatures staying in the forties and fifties F. This fleece was the perfect outer layer in these conditions. I cannot wait to wear it in the North Carolina winter. It is soft, comfortable and functional with plenty of pockets. I am pictured wearing it over a LL Bean lined shirt on a cool evening in Victoria, BC.

I purchased this fleece jacket, in gray (wanted the black version but it had been out of stock for months), for my 6'5" tall husband. It looks great on him and he loves the feel of the fleece and the contrasting colors of the zipper pulls. It would be nice if the tall sizes were a couple of inches longer in length. The sleeve length is fine for him but he would prefer a longer body length. He especially likes the banded cuff, preferring it over elasticized versions which get caught on watches. We both love the LL Bean products and have a closet full of them! Thank you!

Exactly what I wanted. True to size. Good construction. I chose the full zipper as opposed to the pullover, because I find at age 60 I'm getting more claustrophobic. Many clothes today are slim-cut and restrictive, so only young people can wriggle in & out of them.

This jacket is great to wear layered items such as hoodies and t-shirts or as a stand-alone jacket when it's not cold. True to size. Sleeves are extra long like in some of the jackets. I'd recommend.

Would like a little smaller LLBean label on the outside.

I have about 6 of these fleece jackets, in different colors. They are the best for wearing outdoors in Spring and Fall or as a liner under a heavy jacket.

Bought this for my husband. It fits perfectly and looks very classy. Some fleece jackets purchased from other brands are boxy; this one is not at all. It is shaped very nicely for his trim figure (not skinny, but not overweight either). He has long arms and the sleeves fit perfectly, so someone with shorter arms might find them a little too long. The fabric looks like very good quality too.

Purchase this product for the mild yet chilly morning in North Florida. I purchased one for myself, and one for my wife. Product arrived quickly and completely met our expectations. They are perfect for the 45 to 50 degree morning her in Jacksonville.

I'm a little on the slender side (43"), but the fit is still good. I'm 65 and take a blood thinner for my art. heart valve of 30 yrs. So I like to be warmer when I go out. I wear it over my down sweater on colder days, even low 40s; if windy, under a rain/wind jacket. It's very comfortable, inside as well. This is one of their best items. It has draw cord - for me a must-have feature. I also like the small touches on the zippers. That's what made you great, those extras, Mr. Bean. I'm going to order a vest if they go on sale again - maybe by summer?

This fleece jacket is exactly what I wanted. Replaced an older LL Bean fleece jacket that I've worn for many years. The fit was perfect and the fleece material is very comfortable.

I purchased this fleece to replace a returned Sweater Fleece, which pilled after the first washing. I've washed this once and, happily, there's been no pilling. (Some other reviewers have experienced this, I've noticed. I think it might be a bit hit-or-miss in this regard with both of these jackets.) I'm more than happy with this as a replacement. It looks great and has some nice touches (like the bootlace zipper pulls). Most importantly, it fits well and is cozy - light enough to wear around the house, but substantial enough to spend several minutes outside on a cold winter (12 degrees) evening.

My grandson loved this jacket. It fit perfectly and is great quality.

Bean's has the best fleece. Warm and durable. This one replaced an earlier one that my son sized out of. He appreciates being able to tighten the hem to keep cold air from getting in.

I purchased this jacket for my husband as a gift. He loves it. The fit is very true to size. The jacket is professional looking; he keeps it at work. We will be purchasing another for at home.

I purchased this jacket in the color blue for my son and he absolutely loves it! It is a perfect fit, very soft and comfortable. Can't go wrong with LLBean products. Would very highly recommend it!

The jacket is great looking and comfortable. I have received several comments on the look of the jacket. Everyone knows that it is a Bean. Love the zipper pockets; keeps my house and car keys safe when I am active. On mild South Carolina days (45 degrees and above) I wear it over a Tee. Below 45 and on windy days, I wear it over a Tee and a Bean Tropic Wear LS shirt. A minor problem, it is difficult to get on over rougher fabrics such as flannel. I will always try to wear it over a smooth finish fabric. It is of the quality that I have come to expect from LL Bean.

Jacket is great except I need a larger size...I have already returned it to Freeport and it is being processed.....Could take up to 3 wks......

Very comfortable ~ exceeded my expectations! Perhaps a little pricey, but looks to be worth it.

I've been wanting a sturdy quality fleece for awhile now and I finally found one! I got the grey and I love it! It's great, thick quality and will last! Keeps you VERY warm! It's great because you can wear it with khakis or jeans and dress it up, or you can wear it with sweatpants and dress it down. Overall amazing fleece and quality, like all LL Bean products!
