The quality of all LL Bean clothing is outstanding. We live in Texas where the need for a vest is needed for our fall and spring but, not cold enough for a heavy jacket with sleeves. this is my husbands favourite go to piece of clothing.

Fits well, comfortable, and moves well when active ~ well made ~ looks good and works well in various weather as either an outer or inner layer ~ pleased with purchase.

Warm, comfortable, wear by itself or as layer under jacket, it is a wonderful vest.

I'm 5'8" and find that most vests are too long. This one is perfect, long enough to cover and the elastic with cord locks make for a very adjustable fit. The fleece is heavy enough to fall well and be warm without being bulky). A perfect vest.

My husband walks our dog in the morning daily. He wears this vest over his LLBean double knit shirt. It gives him that extra layer (under his jacket) that is not bulky but keeps him warm! He loves the zippered pockets!

Normally I wear a large but I had ordered the jacket version of this vest earlier and "large" was significantly too large. So I knew to order a medium and the fit for me is perfect. I like the weight and cut of this vest much better than, say, Columbia's version. I do recommend sizing down one size.

Gift for husband to replace similar vest he's had for years. Tall large ideal fit for his long torso. He's very pleased after giving up his beloved original vest. LL Bean vests not only look great, they last forever.

This is a nice, warm vest that fits just right, not too tight or loose. It's perfect for those cold days when it's cool inside, and the closed weave blocks the wind on a blustery day. The quality is as good as it gets, and I immediately started wearing this all the time on cold days. I normally wear extra large, but I have lost some weight and checked the size chart and the large vest fit me, so it's worth double checking the size chart.

I bought one of these vests for my husband as he is always chilly in the winter months but doesn't want to wear a sweater every day. He loves it and wants it in more colors!

The vest fleece is soft and warm to the touch. It is great in the house when you need just an extra layer to keep your body warm. I've worn it outside to walk when the temperature is in the 50's. The zippered pockets are great for my cell phone and keys.
