This is a great jacket. I ski in temperatures as low as -15* with the windchill factor and I only wear a baselayer and lightweight fleece under the jacket and am toasty warm, both down the hill and up on the lift. It is well constructed with a cuff at the end of the sleeve as well as closers at the sleeve. the goggle cleaning cloth is a great feature as well as the zip off hood. The only thing I would like it to have is a skirt inside to help keep the wind and snow out. It does have tighteners both at the waist and the bottom of the jacket and they are great, I just like the skirt.

It's my third one. In my opinion they're comfortable and the warmest coat I've ever owned.

I bought this coat because my wife and I were going to take a trip to Norway. We went in the winter and this cost kept me very comfortable. It met all my expectations. I would highly recommend it to anyone else.

This coat is everything I was looking for - max protection for blowing snow at home and travel in the cold mountains. Recently had the chance to really test it, we had about five days of near or below zero degree (F) here in Denver. I ventured to shovel a light snowfall and stayed toasty warm with a sweatshirt, this coat and scarf, hat, and gloves. Quality and good style.

We have bought clothing and shoes from L.L.Bean over the years. Everything we have bought is very good quality. I bought my husband a Rugged Ridge Parka in a men's XXL tall. The jacket fits my husband perfectly.

Probably the best winter coat I have ever had. Comfortable and water proof without the weight of many winter coats. Deep secure pockets and one conveniently located for your cell phone. A secure neck adjustment which eliminates cold air and Internal cords which can also be adjusted to eliminate cold air. Easy to use secure adjustable cuffs.

This parka is warm with enough room for layers without being bulky and restrictive in movement. It is waterproof also with adds to the benefits of dealing with unpredictable winter weather.

Hubby wanted a lightweight jacket. It's lighter weight, but warm. He just commented yesterday how much he loves it.

This is not the first Rugged Ridge parka I have purchased, but it has been years since my last purchase. Quality and features remain exceptional for the price and the fit for me was perfect. This product has actually improved since my last purchase 10+ years ago which is a rarity these days.

My husband wanted this coat after he researched other styles and brands. He has worn it every day & is happy with his choice - fits well, the relaxed fit allows him to layer if necessary, it keeps him warm/dry and has the pockets he wanted.

My husband loves this coat. There's enough room in the shoulders so it doesn't feel overly snug and it's toasty warm. He was pretty excited ti get it for Christmas.

Excellent quality, true to size, nice color, warm jacket.

Warm, light, good looking. I wore it to a bowl game and counting the tailgating I was outside for 6 hours in 30-degree weather. Even for the long periods I was inactive in the bleachers I never even started to get cold, and when I was walking to concessions or whatnot, I had to unzip it. Great coat.

Gift recipient reports coat is great, i.e. warm, and amply sized for layering. Looks good too.

Jacket is nice and warm without being puffy, which my husband really likes. He also likes the slightly longer length.

I'm 52 and can honestly say this is the best all around winter coat I have ever owned. From the second I put it on I was blown away by the perfect fit and comfort of the coat. It certainly warm and blocks the wind quite well. Believe me when I say I know harsh winters, I live in Buffalo New York, and I won't hesitate to wear this coat through our winters.

This parka is very warm itself and can have other layers used with it for quite extreme conditions. Fits nicely and feels very comfortable. Seems to shed moisture quite well. Not extremely expensive for what you are getting.

I purchased this jacket for a winter European river cruise to the Christmas markets. This jacket is by far the best jacket I have ever worn. Extremely warm. Full length to below the butt with hood. Plenty of pockets outside and inside. I was never cold when wearing this jacket. Temps were in low 30's through 40's. If temps are in the 50's, this jacket will be to warm. It is truly a coldweather jacket and I can not recommend it enough. Easy to travel with.

Great coat, The fit is perfect. I haven't tried it in very cold weather yet.

My husband was thrilled with this parka. Although he has not worn it yet, he loved the hip length, warmth and tie closures. We're both very happy with this Christmas gift.

This coat is comfortable and warm. It covers all the bases - lightweight yet full coverage, plenty of pockets and wind proof too.

Purchased for my son-in-law and he is very pleased. Perfect fit, not bulky, and the adjustable cuffs are a winner. The colors are not as distinct as in the photo because the grey is a bit darker, but it is very classy looking.
