I have always liked this jacket. I had one for about ten years. This is a replacement. This jacket is great for the cold weather in Rhode Island and Massachusetts. I'm out for work sometimes in the elements and this keeps me warm and dry.

Excellent quality Parka with heavy duty zippers and weather seals. Plenty of room for adding additional layers.(I am 5'-10" @200# and I ordered XL ) Light weight and not overly bulky. Tried it for the first time last week, temperature was 25F with a windchill of 10F with no additional layers: very comfortable (forgot my gloves, but parka has warm pockets). Best part is that Parka is WATERPROOF, not just Water Resistant.

This is an excellent jacket - warm but not hot, hood zips off, bottom zips up for when you drive and need more room. True to size.

Bought the Rugged Ridge Parka to replace my old Beans Down Jacket. Love the warmth on my morning walks. Great overall parka. Will appreciate the water proof feature when it rains. Long tIme Beans customer.

I can wear this coat on balmy, windy days, rain and blusterous days, snow days, and just about any other challenging day, and I have enough room in the arms and torso to layer if I need to or not. This coat also has excellent storage for my wallet, phone and gloves. Just a great piece of clothing.

Bought this for my husband. It's so well made, very warm but not bulky, waterproof ( not just water resistant). Has lots of compartments for gloves, keys, phone. Great looking coat. We missed out last year because we waited too late in the season so jumped on it first thing.

Like the longer length. Sized with enough room for a sweatshirt underneath.

This jacket is warm for my husband, but he cannot figure out how to remove the hat. No instructions came with the coat how to put it on or off.,

I wear it in Vienna, Austria. Current conditions are around 0 degrees Celsius and a lot of humidity. I find the jacket breathes well and is quite warm. Highly recommended.

This parka is an excellent value. It is warm, waterproof and very comfortable. Not your typical lightweight puffy but feels well built and durable. Collar can be slightly irritating under the chin when the jacket is zipped up all the way unless the hood is on. That's my only complaint and I would still purchase again even knowing that.

Seems high quality -- have had parka for 3 weeks. Seams and zippers are often mentioned as issues with other brands, NOT with this parka by LL Bean. Parka will be used in weather well below 0F. Size ordered will allow for down puffer vest underlayer.

This is a great quality parka. Not cumbersome, yet incredibly warm. Nice colors and hood is useful. Wear for being out and about and skiing.

I ha a Men's Ultralight 850 Down Big Baffle Hooded Puffer Jacket, but the cuffs around the sleeve didn't hold up under the conditions I put them under. LL Bean was kind enough to refund the jacket in a gift card. I came across the Ruuged Ridge Parka researching replacement options. It didn't take long and gosh, I could not be happier with my choice. I got red/black and it's sharp as a tack. The jacket is very heavy so I have faith it will be warm enough to run through the often harsh New England winters.

Love the red color and all the features, zipper works just fine. I'm 6'6" 260# and the 2XLT fits perfectly.

Haven't had the opportunity to wear it yet but it appears to be well made.
