The jacket was very good in every detail except that for my husband, it was too small. We ordered it online and was able to return it very easily. Thanks to those who assisted in this process even though it didn't work out this time.

I've been keeping a 25 year old Warm-Up Jacket going for all these years. instead of nylon they were using Supplex, much softer and quieter. I found the bottom and cuff bands a little heavy and stiff compared to the old one. The new one is not as roomy as the same size in the older model.

This is a nice jacket. The lining helps retain warmth but I would not recommend for temps below 32 degrees. Otherwise it is good to go for about everything else.

This is the third Warm Up jacket my husband has owned. Like the first two, this one fits nicely, has handy pockets and is warm in our midwestern winter. However, unlike the first two, the outer shell on this one is crisp. The older models had a softer finish on the outside, which my husband liked better. If this had had the same outer shell as the older models, I would have given it 5 stars.

O was very familiar with the quality and sizing of this jacket as I already own three of them purcgased years ago whenthey were priced at half what they are now. I'be kicked myself for many years for not having purchased one in the Mountain Red color when it was available and I probably wouldn't have bought this one without a 20% discount and Bean Bucks. My only issue with this Oak color jacket is that the knit cuffs and waistband, and the lining, should be brown and NOT gray. Other than that, a great jacket but hugely overpriced.

Really like the jacket but I guess I'm an in-between fit.
Ordered an xtra large which is my normal fit but it's a bit to large even with a layer underneath so I ordered a large but that's way too snug so I sent that back.
Still trying to decide if I want to send the XL back!

Recommend to anyone. Not bulky but very warm and high, turn-up collar is just right to block wind on neck. Water repellant quality great. Covers all needs.

I've bought this jacket for the last 20 years and as advertised its a great three season item. quality is a four star product due to the cuff wear problems. All 5 jackets bought over the last 2 decades have had cuff wear problems. The jacket I now have both cuffs have failed again, remainder of jackets is still good. Repairs is an issues since availability of repair shops are difficult to find. cost of replacement is expensive for a used jacket. As mentioned to LLBeans in the past this area requires your attention.

Very nice but medium is tight for 41. Have tried large before and it was too big especially sleeve length

The quality of the jacket is excellent as is always the case with LL Bean products.
The jacket was just slightly too large for my height and weight.
But I'm sure it will provide adequate protection from the cold, through most of the winter with
a light layer underneath.

I bought the jacket and it fit fine, the problem is that it is the regular size is a little too short, (if fall just slight above my hips I going to the exchange is to the XXL tall that should do the trick, let's see. Other than than it great jacket and I will use it when the weather cools down.

Quality material but poor construction of the pockets which normally make the coat. was a little big for tall XL. Blue jacket with blue LLBean stitching, why wastes the string and put holes in fabric? Inside pocket is too small needs to be 3 inches bigger in width and depth FOR A CELL PHONE, wake up people to the times. Hand pockets need to have an inside lip of at least an inch so stuff does not just roll / slide out of the pocket, come on people think. Can't put my cell phone in this coat or it SLIDES out of the POCKET Unless my hand is holding it in. Hand pockets ok size but softer fleece would be better. Coat needs insulation in the arms, it may have thinsulate but it's not enough, needs more. The coat stops wind and rain well. Coat needs 2 extra inside pockets one on each side. I have added them to my coat. FOR MY CELL PHONE, keys and glasses but it is a good coat. People need to think on what people need and how things are utilized by people, this is a Mercedes coat with Tricycle options. Think people think.

I have been buying this model jacket for many years. I live in a Mid Atlantic state, and I get a lot of use out this jacket in the 40- 60 degree temperature range. Which is 6 months. Water resistant, wind resistant - a very practical item. The zipper does not last. Zippers seem to be a weak point in a lot jackets. So you have to decide if you want to spend $40 dollars replacing a zipper on a $100 jacket. In my newest purchase, I can see that they have constructed the entire jacket to be smaller. In the arms, the waist, and the shoulders. I'm 5'7" 150lbs, and I got the medium. I can tolerate the medium. If you are 1 lb and 1" bigger than me, it might be too tight.

This is such a nice coat I bought another one. The problem is with the color, moss khaki. The jacket I received is like an army green that isn't listed as a choice. I chose to keep it but I sure don't like the color.

I tried this in a Men's Large, Navy. My issues are just cosmetic; there's nothing wrong with the item, it fits properly, seems like it could be warm with a polar-tech underneath and there would be room for one as well. Issues: All of these have the same color lining, grey. On the navy color core, it seemed mismatched. The bottom band bunches up along the bottom and makes it look boxy. So I returned it.

Since the zipper on my favorite LL-B fleece died and they could not fix, I've struggled to find something that's something of a substitute. I do not like most of the choices. I saw this item in their store, but not in my size. Decided to give it a try. I've been wearing it fairly regularly since. It's a bit stiffer than I prefer. The pockets zip which is good. The inner pocket is small and at the chest which I don't prefer. My old fleece was so wonderful that it's hard to be highly satisfied. I chose this because it is not a bubble coat and it doesn't have the label screaming LL-B.

The jacket felt very warm and roomy. Really had great warmth when worn. The only complaint I would have is the selves are not lined.

I ordered this same coat several years ago, but the zipper was wearing out so I ordered this new one. There is a difference, the older one is heavier due to a thicker lining. I like the heavier lining better but this new coat is still pretty nice. I just hope it works as well as the old one in really cold weather.

This is the third warmup jacket I've owned. I love them for the fit, comfort, and warmth. They're an excellent value. My only disappointment is that the inside pocket has been eliminated. This may have been a cost cutting action, but it detracts from the jacket. I've noted that the quality of several Bean products has declined. Now I shop around before purchasing. I used to go straight to Bean's.
