But alas the jacket "fits" as in he can zip it up, but tight in the shoulders. His chest is 39 inches, and an older jacket being replaced was a large. Ordered an XL-hope it doesn't run big... My husband has lost 40 lbs in the last 3 months. All his clothes are too large. What a surprise that a large jacket is too small.

Nice warm jacket. Good to about 20 degrees F. Looks good. Could use a larger inside pocket.

Lightweight and yet very warm. Sleeves are comfortable around my wrists.

Please put a decent zipper in the Jacket. Fabric doesn't wear as well as in previous years. Still the best.

I wear this jacket through most of the winter and have had several over the years, but now the collar feels stiff when raised, and there's no way this thin smooth fleece is "300 weight" anymore as claimed, so just not as warm (and of course no longer Polartec).

Jacket looks good, fit is great, very warm. The exterior fabric ready does stop the cold wind! These jackets last a long time.

I've bought 30 some items from LL Bean this Christmas, for myself and as gifts. This one, I sent back. The material was stiff and noisy. I'm sure it was warm, I'm sure it's a good jacket, but I wasn't a fan.

Excellent fit and quality; was disappointed for a couple of days when I couldnt find an inside pocket, but it was just in a different place than its 30 year-old predecessor!

My purchase is a replacement of an identical jacket that was given to me as a gift more than 10 years ago. I have used the original warm up jacket year round and it has finally required replacement. I was extremely pleased to find LL Bean continues to manufacture the identical product and purchased it so I would not be without my favorite outdoor garment.

Jacket was extremely nice. Much warmer than I anticipated it being. However, sent back for a return because I didnt like the collar and am yet to receive my refund. It has been 3 weeks today and still nothing.

These jackets are terrific. Ive personally worn out six of these and my current jacket has many miles on it but still looks and wears well. I bought this jacket for one of my grandsons and I trust that he will enjoy it as much as Ive enjoyed mine.

The product was as advertised. I had two of these jackets previously and was very satisfied with them. The only difference I've noticed with this jacket is that it was a bit wrinkled when I took it out of the package. I washed and dried it and some of the wrinkles didn't come out. The previous jacket did not do that, so I would rate this jacket not quite as good as previous models.

LOVE this jacket, but every time I put it on, the collar stands up and it's a hassle to get it down.
