Just what I was looking for - an everyday wear jacket, nice enough for work but comfortable enough to be the go-to grab for any outing. This is a classic combination of windbreak outer shell and inner polartek liner, perfect for a wide range of conditions. While it does have Bean branding stitched in on the front, it is subtle and appropriate, unlike other Bean products that have over the top brand advertising that is out of step with the Maine ethos that Bean (used to) aspire to. I was glad I went to a store to try this jacket on since I ended up needing a larger size than I would have ordered (large vs medium). I can wear it alone or with a sweater underneath for colder days.

With Spring come regular weather changes, like every 10 or so minutes. Sometimes a squall even comes up. My previous jacket for such occasions had reached the END of it's lifespan, and LANDed in the trash. I sought a replacement for that jacket, but alas couldn't find the old model still being produced by that purveyor. So I came to Bean, and found exactly what I was looking for. The jacket fits true to size, and will serve as a nice three season coat, though I think it will be best as a Spring and Fall jacket most of all.

Good quality jacket for the money this is the 3rd one I've bought. They keep you warm in the winter.

This is the second one that I have purchased in the last couple of years and I really like the fit and how warm it is. Quality made and I like the colors .

This is a really nice "between the seasons" jacket. A little bit wind breaker, good warmth without being too hot.

This is my third warm up jacket, the other two lasted a combined 30+ years. The fit and quality seem unchanged.

Got this for my elderly, beloved dad. He's not what I'd consider an extra tall man, and he's really skinny, but his last jacket we got from here, we got the regular sizing, and his backside kept getting air to his back, when it's been chilly. ENTER THE "TALL Medium L. L. bean jacket". He loooovveess this jacket! He no longer gets wind blown up his backside! He loves this burnt orange too! We are happy he is happy! He's 82 & active, and we plan to only buy him Tall Clothing from you guys from now on!

The quality is excellent. However, it is cut small and was too tight on me, so I had to send it back. I typically wear a 3XL. But this 3XL was a little too tight.

Perfect jacket for comfort and fit. It is lightweight but very warm.

Perfect weight jacket for in between weather. Color was great. Fit my husband perfectly.

My husband was wearing a ratty old Carhartt sweatshirt as his go-to winter coat. It weighed a ton, and I finally was able to convince him to try this instead. He looks so handsome in his new jacket. It's lightweight, warm and has lots of pockets. He likes it! And this man isn't easy to please. Thanks Bean!

Great mid season coat. Temperature range of 25-55 seems very accurate and very comfortable and the water repellant fabric a plus. Only improvement would be an attached hood.

This is the third jacket like this that I have bought for my son. He has loved them all.

I bought this jacket for my husband around 40 years ago. It still looks like brand new. LL Bean lived up to its warranty that they would repair the jacket for its lifetime. After a few decades, the elastic hem had stretched out, but I mailed it back and they replaced the elastic FOR FREE, and it is like brand new again. The outer shell shown no sign of wear, and the fleece lining is just as cozy as ever. (please forgive any typos)

I want one for me, are there women's equivalent of this jacket please?

My husband really likes this jacket. Mid-weight, nice quality fabric. I mistakenly reviewed the 3-Season Bomber Jacket with these comments. But that jacket was too slim and had loud, too-visible LLBean-branded tags on three zippers on the front. :-( This Warm-Up Jacket is a traditional fit (i.e. not slim fit) and the zipper tags don't call attention to themselves. :-). Comfy lining. Yay!

My husband loves this jacket. The zipper on his old one finally gave out so I gave him the new one for his birthday. It always looks good whether he's out somewhere or working in the yard.

An excellent jacket. Comfortable, warm, practical and light weight. Can easily be worn for three seasons.
