This is a great jacket. It has a roomy cut under the arms to allow for another layer. The inside zip pocket is a good feature. The collar can be worn up on colder days - the fleece lining is warm around your neck. My only disappointment is that the Moss Khaki color is not tan as the online photo suggests. It's definitely a dark green jacket.

This was purchased as a gift and the recipient is delighted. It replaced a previous L.L. Bean jacket that was over 20 years old. He was initially disappointed that the original green color was no longer available but after seeing the new one in person, he's quite happy with the color. It's warm, waterproof and, as noted above, I expect to wear as well and last as long as the previous one. Thanks for a great product! GG51

Purchased 3 in different colors for Grandsons for Christmas!! They are ages 21, 20 and 15! Each loved them as they were warm yet not cumbersome or too heavy! Would recommend these as a great value for price and were enjoyed and "not returned" by boys-plus they immediately wore them upon receiving them!

I ordered this one as a replacement for one purchased at least 13 years ago. That one got torn while repairing the snow blower. It is a great jacket!

This replaced the same style jacket that still serves as my dog walking favorite. I was concerned that the new jacket would be different, at least in fit and comfort. My fears were wasted energy. Comfort, fit and warmth are still the same. You can count on LL Bean!

This jacket is one of my favorites and is the second purchase of the same item. It's comfortable, warm and looks great. I've had the first jacket for quite a few years and it still looks great but I assumed it may have shrunk as it was a bit snug this year. My wife assured me the jacket was just fine but as I got older my load may have shifted somewhat...it was time for a new jacket and one size up. The jacket is great for all but the coldest of days and I can highly recommend it for most weather encountered here in the Pacific Northwest.

This is the fourth warm-up jacket I've purchased from LL Bean over the years. I love it! Always fits well and last a LONG time!!

The jacket seems warm, wind resistant, and fits well. The cuffs could be a little tighter at the wrist but it is just a personal preference. I would recommend this jacket to others wanting a good, durable, nice looking jacket.

This is the 3rd jacket over the years that my husband has worn. It is true to size, wears beautifully and is perfect for our North Carolina winters.

I bought this jacket for a veteran of the Korean War. He is 88 yrs old and gets cold easily. When I saw this jacket would keep him warm in weather -35 below, I knew he had to have it. The weather has not gotten that cold yet, but he will be wearing it this winter for the test.

This is the third jacket for me over the last 25 years. They wear very well. I like it because it is light weight, very warm , & not bulky.

Bought this for my son who wears clothes so long they practically fall apart. Chose LL Bean for their durability and quality. He needed something for Spring/Fall and this jacket is just the right weight. Fit was perfect and well made. Would definitely recommend this jacket to others.

The jacket fits very good and it is well made and comfortable. I normally need LARGE size but for this jacket that was too snug. The EXTRA LARGE fits perfect. I recommend this jacket.

Looks great. Feels great. Inside and outside material appear to be high quality. I usually buy size medium shirts and sweaters from L.L. Bean but the large was the best fit for this jacket. I haven't worn it in rain but the outside material looks like it will shed light rain.

It fits very well and is just right for chilly weather. With an additional fleece liner, it's warm warm, warm on icy cold days and nights. I love it!

I had one of these jackets many years ago. Loved it then, and love it now. The only weak point on the one from years ago, was the zipper. It went bad after 4-5 years. Hopefully this new one has fixed that problem.

I have an older version of this jacket that's probably 20 or more years old and is still nice. I wanted a new one in black, and this seems just as nice as the older one. It's very versatile and can go from cool to cold, snowy weather. Just a great all-around use jacket.

My wife and daughter love this jacket so much I had to get them each one of their own so I can wear mine! I find it to be a great three season jacket except for on the coldest of days. Great fit, light weight, ease of movement, not too bulky. Even though it has a slit (near the zipper) pocket in the chest, I would prefer an inner chest pocket.

I have been purchasing this jacket for the men in my family for years. Both my husband and my son wear this jacket. Best Christmas gift you can give.

It is mind blowing as to how WARM this jacket keeps me and how LIGHT-WEIGHT it is. I live in northern NJ and have never been cold while wearing the jacket. This morning the temperature is in the teens with a strong wind - only my face, hands, and legs felt the cold. This jacket kept me very comfortable. I had another one of these jackets for over 10 years. It has a handy inside upper pocket and washes well if it gets dirty. A GREAT BUY -
