I bought my first bean coat in 1986. Back then it was called a 3 season coat. I wore that coat just about everyday, fall, winter, and spring. I retired it in 2012, when I bought my second coat. My 2nd bean coat didn't last as long as my first, but it had a good run. I bought my 3rd and newest coat in February 2020. I have no doubt this new one will last me well into the future. 5 stars.

True three season jacket that washes great. Bought this to replace 17 year old jacket that had ripped on a tool.

Not sure if the label is wrong but this is way too small. I usually use XL in shirts and have a Grab Jacket from a competitor that is 2X and it fits fine except they made the current one different and I do't like it. Ordered yours so I could take theirs back but now I see that yours is only available up to 2X so I will have to return it also and keep looking. I am going to take it back to a store and try another in case it is tagged wrong.

Great Jacket

I've been wearing a Bean jacket just like it for about 25 years. Thought it was about time to retire it to yard work, so bought this new one. The fit is spot on and the materials are of very good quality. It's a bit longer than the old one, but that's working out fine. We don't see a lot of real cold weather, but I'm susceptible to the cold, damp air we have and this jacket is perfect. I'd buy it again if I were to need another for some reason.

Fits just right, I'm 6'2" with long arms and allows sweater inside. Sturdy!

This jacket replaces one I bought many years ago. It was looking tired and I wanted to replace it with an updated version. This one is perfect! Comfortable, plenty of pockets for phone and keys and other stuff. It fits just as I expected with a little more length that I really need. I recommend it!

This is my second round of this jacket type. The first one is still in use. It's beginning to show its age, but is still in very good overall condition. This is a great all-round jacket for warmth and water/wind resistance. The only improvement I suggest is to add another zippered breast pocket, inside or out.

My husband has had this jacket for 30 years (originally in a Medium). He needed a larger size so I ordered this one. He can now get it zipped up again and he loves the jacket.

My husband has this coat in black and I love it. So I decided to get one for myself. I loved the color of the moss khaki as seen in the catalog. However, it is green, not a dark tan as it looks in the catalog. Love the jacket, but not the color! Sadly, I'm sending it back.

another great LL bean Product

Weight is good for outdoors in cold weather with moderate activity and yet okay to wear in a building without getting too warm. The fit is comfortable.

My 91 year old father asked me to order this for him & he loves it. He wanted it in navy blue which he got but he was disappointed that the LL Bean logo was done in navy blue thread too so is really not noticeable. Even at 91 years he still wants to advertise that he is an LL Bean snob.....!!!

I usually purchase a small but my husband recently gained 10 pounds. The medium was a perfect fit for him. Looks good and he wears the jacket while driving. He is pleased with the purchase.

I purchased this last year but it was not long enough, they had it in tall this year he loves it. So happy I could get it for him.

This jacket fits perfectly and is very comfortable. Warm in PA winter weather.

Good fit, excellent quality. I'm hot blooded so it's a little too heavy above 40 degrees for me. But it is great down to 20 degrees when I wear a sweater vest or flannel cloth shirt.

I have had several of these coats, went without one for a winter, ordered one again as nothing covers as many bases as this coat.

This is just the casual jacket I was looking for. It's warm and protects from the wind. The fleece lining is very comfortable and it has good quality zippers.

I bought one of these for my son before I got one for myself. He wore it all the time and it kept him warm in PA winters so I decided to get one for myself when I needed a jacket. I have not been disappointed. The jacket is very light, yet insulates well. The knit cuffs seal well around wrists and waist. The zipper is heavy duty so it should give a long life and so far has not gotten stuck on the inside storm flap. The best feature (that every jacket should have) is a slick lining inside the sleeves that don't pull your sweater sleeves up when you put on this jacket.
