This jacket replaces a similar well worn and really old LL Bean jacket that no longer zipped. We wanted another one in a similar style and this one fits perfectly.

Amazing jacket. Extremely warm, to the point where it's too hot to wear inside. Easy to get on due to the thinsulate sleeves. Quality zippers, very warm and soft hand pockets. Went for a 2 hour horseback ride in 30 degree weather with just a waffle long sleeve underneath and warmth was not a concern. At $100 dollars it's tough to beat this jacket.

This is my second warm- up jacket. The first lasted over 15 years. Maybe I will live long enough to buy a thrid.

Good looking jacket. I didn't notice any unusual sound when wearing it like some reviews mentioned. Comfortable.

Old favorite. On my fourth over 30 years . They are built to last if you don't gain weight.. Kept me warm all winter this year even plowing snow.

The jacket was more than I expected. Great fit and looks very stylish. Had several compliments how the jacket looks.

Size runs small so I had to return and get a larger size. I love the jacket. Front zippered pockets are nice and deep and lined with warm feeling fabric. Nice to tuck hands in on a cold day. Inside pocket is nice. It is also zippered. Perfect to stash important papers in or your wallet. Coat is warm and lightweight. Jacket is well worth the price.

This is my second coat. I love it - very warm, can make water proof, only one flaw - cell phone (large) falls out of the pocket, unless zipped. Otherwise, no problems at all. I do recommend this coat. Large, 5'10". great general purpose coat. I live in Washington State

I know today.This will be the best jacket i've ever bought. The quality is more than i expected. I've had jackets from LL BEAM before but this one will be the best. No cold wind comes thru the lining at all. Or rain!! I am a big guy and the regular 3X is a perfect fit.... Thank you guys and girls at LL BEAM. You have another lifetime customer at a great value!!

I read reviews prior to purchase that this was the perfect 35 to 50 degree jacket. However, I wore it in 18 degree temps (albeit full sun) and stayed quite comfortable. This is a great jacket for casual wear. Fit and finish are perfect. I also like the inside zip pocket. Highly recommended!

This is probably the fourth of this jacket style I have owned over a couple of decades. I live in cold Minnesota, and this is my winter jacket. It isn't a down jacket, although I do have an LL Bean down jacket, but I don't bundle up as much as some of my friends. I find this is more than enough in all but the coldest below 0F weather. IMO, it's good looking, durable, comfortable and warm. Plus, the inside pocket up high on the left side is perfect for my glasses when I don't want to wear them. What more can you ask for?

My brother loves this jacket and has worn one for years. So he wears it until it gets tired and then I get to replace for his birthday or Christmas. Kind of a family tradition! Win, win!

This is my second warm-up jacket -- the first became too big for me and is now keeping someone else warm. The fit and quality are perfect -- exactly what I wanted and expected. I just wore it outside with a sweatshirt in +13F weather and was comfortable.

This is the 3rd time (over 10 years). that I have purchased this model. The first purchase finally gave out 2 years old. The second one was used as a good jacket for going out but when the first one was done. That jacket is now my every day/work jacket and I then purchased this last one to be a going out jacket. They are well made and comfortable.

I rely on these jackets and have had many over the years. Always great!

Great jacket! I wear this jacket for most of the winter. Keeps me warm in southeastern Pennsylvania, good fit, and wears well (this is my third one - I outgrew one, gave one as a present, and continue to wear one). I like the zip up pockets and the fact that this jacket has an interior zip up pocket that's actually large enough to hold my phone and glasses. I also like the fact that it's lightweight but still warm.

Excellent quality. Can't wait for the other colors to become available.
