I was disappointed in the Jackets outer material, it is stiff and cheap looking. I was misled by the picture and the colars appearance and expected a smother softer touch. Also like most of all the LL Bean products now being made in 3rd world countries, I don't think it does anything for the quality image you built over the years. As a long time customer that shops LLBean for quality. it is because I want the best and now paying much more for your products I will not accept cheap look-a-likes.

Seems like it is lighter and of less quality than prior fleece jacket.

The jacket seems nicely made, but the proportions are so weird that even going down a size wouldn't help. I've had this issue with their flannel shirts before, too. And now I have to pay to return it, too....yay....

i have owned a couple of these warmup jackets from llbean over the years, not for about 10 yrs now. I can tell you that they have changed. the fleece seems thinner not as soft. the jacket is very noisy and brittle when cold, and not as warm as it used to be. sized smaller than before. i got xxl because i wanted room for sweater under jacket, but it is tight so i can't.

I have been a customer since 1965. I have purchased 3 warm up jackets through the years from LL Bean prior to purchasing these two recent jackets. I used to weigh 135 pounds, now I weight 145 pounds. I always purchased LL Bean jackets in size SMALL (S). These two recent jackets were much larger than the three previous warm up jackets. They are also of lower quality. I am disappointed.

I was very disappointed that after only 2 seasons the "banded waistband" lost all elasticity and snugness. I'm 5'11" 190# with a 34" waist so I know I wasn't stressing out the waist of the jacket. Not sure if it's inferior materials or what, but that's my .02.

I've had three of these jackets in the past but I can't buy them again - for modern times they just don't have enough pockets. The one small upper pocket just can't hold everything we carry - key-fob, phone, wallet, iPod etcetera. One more chest pocket plus 1-2 interior pockets would be fine thanks.

For the price of this jacket it wasn't made to size ran small ... definitely would have to size up if possible

After two seasons, the zipper on this jacket broke. Nice jacket but useless with a broken zipper.

Love the warm-up jacket, but the 300 weight fleece lining makes this jacket too bulky. Even 200 weight might be too much bulk. I have a Bean warm-up jacket that must have 100 weight fleece. It's great for layering. Come on LLBean bring back the layering-friendly, un-bulky warm-up jacket. Let me know and I will pre-order mine.

I have two of these jackets and the zippers broke on both. Most frustrating to have jackets with much wear left in them, and not be able to use them. Will not purchase another.

Bought to play golf in 30 -45 degree weather. Wore once and the noisiness rubbing against outer shell drove me nuts. Returned to Bean.

Very disappointed with this jacket, they're made with thin material now unlike the original kind. The color is more orangey than red. Please bring back the old colors and the material you guys used to use. I'm not a fan of returning items, but not really happy with this new materials you guys are using.

I certainly would recommend the regular for someone with a regular build. I tried the regular large but had to send it back - my go to size with LLB is a medium long, which is offered for for many items, but not this popular jacket.

Purchased the jacket and found inside pocket too small to fit a man's wallet. Also needs a phone pocket to keep up with today's lifestyle needs.

I was hoping for a warmer jacket for spring and fall. This was too lightweight and I returned it immediately. Workmanship was fine, just not warm enough. I rate it 9 of 10 for quality, 2 of ten for warmth.

I had one of these coats for years and I loved it. LLB has increase the price and lowered the weight and quality of this coat. The new coat is much thinner with "thinsulate?" and not as good in the cold weather as their older model was, now it's "late spring or early fall weight". The ends of the sleeves unraveled in my old coat, otherwise it is still good. I wish LLB would just raise the price if they really need to but not cut quality! If LLB wants to change something, why not improve the quality of the sleeve ends?

I love this design and was delighted to see one color (marine blue) available in medium-tall, but unfortunately I had to return it because the traditional fit is way too baggy. I hope that L.L. Bean will make more colors available in medium-tall, ideally in a slim or slightly fitted version.

Beautiful jacket, fits well, but with three layers on including the jacket, I was cold in 40 degrees. Bean stretched the truth on this one!

The stomach area is too large, yet it is too tight around the hips . The elastic band has to be stretched a few inches in order to zip it up. As others have noted, the fabric produces an above average amount of swishing noise. I returned it.

I am female, 5'3", and 116 lbs. I ordered size small because I have an old size small that needs replacing. This jacket is made with a large bulge to accommodate a big belly. I wish LL Bean would cary more slim items. I was very disappointed, as the jacket is warm and cozy. Another serious problem is the collar. It is large and funny-looking if the zipper is down a bit. And when I put the zipper up for warmth, one side of the collar curled up. No way could I make it lie flat. I long for the old days when LLBean sold quality clothing designed to fit slim folks.

UPS shows coat was delivered but did not supply picture of delivery. Coat never arrived. I submitted a claim to UPS and their reply was that they forwarded to LL Bean. I have heard nothing from LL Bean. I live in a small cul de sac and the house sits well back from the street. I do not know of any porch pirates in the area but I do not have the coat so cannot give it a good review.

Bought the mens 2xl regular thinking that it would cover my butt as I am a short woman and this size in other mens jackets work. Bought it on sale last spring never tried on as weather was too warm when I got it, put it away forgot about it and just found it, took out of plastic cover and tried on and the fit is crazy big on the shoulders but tight at waist and length is very short and sleeves which which would normally be long on me fit just right. Fits like a midriff level football jersey.

I got a small and I'm swimming in it. The shoulders especially, which is too much to get tailored. It's a shame it doesn't come in a smaller cut. I have to return it.
