These boots are great for city walking in the snow. They are super comfortable AND so beautiful! I can feel the quality and I'm sure I will have them for many winters to come.

I took time to look through reviews since any pair of Sorels is a bit of an investment. As a Chicagoan, I needed boots that were warm, comfortable, and durable. Luckily, these boots are all of the above! I'm typically between a 7.5 - 8 and always size up with boots. I decided to get an 8.5. They're definitely roomy on their own, but considering the cold temp and snow, I usually wear two pairs of socks, and they're perfect. I was able to walk through about a foot of snow without an issue and stay warm for several hours in freezing temps. Totally waterproof and worth the money. The day I burn through these, I'll be sure to buy another pair.

Bought these originally in the dove color, and came back a week after I got them and ordered the ancient fossil as well! Love love love the colors on both, they're super comfy and warm, and I can't tell you how many compliments I get on them. I ordered a 7.5 which is a half size up from what I normally wear, and actually decided to go with my normal size 7 even with my winter socks. They do have a light fuzzy interior for warmth that I didn't expect but love, as I have chronic cold feet all the time, and I actually stay warm in these! They were a little snug across the top of the foot at first, but they loosened a little bit and I don't notice it anymore. Wore them for an 8 hr work day straight out of the box, so I don't think they needed any breaking in! The weight is just right for me, and the rubber treads are sooo grippy, I feel very sure-footed in ice and snow, they were even gripping my hardwood floors at first. Very comfy, I'm on the hunt now for the mauve ones :)

These boots are amazing and warm. I am usually a 8.5 but I ordered a 9 . The boot is a little tight to slide on and you have to unlace every time but it's quick. Definitely a unique Sorel keeper!!

Using the measurement instructions on the website my size should be a solid 7.5. The boots are a bit tight though and I wish they had wide width options. I cannot wear thick socks with them at all, so it's a good thing they are really warm boots. They are definitely water proof, and have good traction on both snow and ice. I've been able to test them in a variety of temperatures and weather conditions, and they have performed beautifully in all! I really like the look, too, and received a compliment from a stranger the first day I wore them!

I love the style of the boot and they are very warm. They are a little difficult to get your foot into which makes it impossible to wear thicker socks.

I LOVE these boots! I have slim snow pants and they need to be tucked in. I like how I can actually slip my foot in even when it's tied up, and no snow enters from the top because of the faux fur. The traction is also great for the snow, so there's no slipping, and I often carry my toddlers in the snow, so I feel more secure. And definitely the updated design is more modern than the original. I'm usually a 7-7.5, and I went with the 7.5 so I could wear thick socks and they fit perfect. Also- dry socks, no water/snow inside.

These are my new favorites! They are gorgeous and so so comfortable. I like to go on long winter walks - they are perfect.

I just got off my nurse shift .I just receive my Sorel sliver Joan of arc boots..omg they are Lit..meaning (Hot)I Absolutely in love with them It goes perfectly with my silver bubble coat as you can see in the picture that I didn’t wear yet. When I’m ready to wear these boots and a jacket and bag to match
I’m going to be walking tall outside. Being cute .I wear scrubs all day long so on my off day I tried to keep it cute. With my mask on LOL.when I wasn’t so sure of the sizing i had to think ?I am between size 9 -9 1/2 sometimes size 10 but depending on the cut. I want my best judgment as always I went for the 9 1/2 I have lots of room in my 9 1/2 in the toe area as well .I didn’t want to get a 10 because it may be way too big my feet are narrow and a little long.I am so happy with my purchase the box as you can see in my picture .I’ve read couple of reviews that some of ladies had issues with boots .. Not I..MyBoots are perfect,brand New out the Box with wrapping paper .everything is smell new new no scratches no nothing.Ladies if you want to purchase these Joan of arctic boots please do .I’m going to purchase a black pair next. Ladies, Then everyone feet are different, Ladies if Zappos Recommendation size.tell you to get that size ,suggest you go with your best judgment because nine times out of 10 the recommendation size may be too big. you’re between sizes ,go with your best judgment . if you were the same size as me 9-9 1/2 and you cannot go wrong with a 9 1/2...I’m a satisfied customer thank you Zappos.

If I could give this boot 100000 stars I would!! Worth every penny. Keeps my feet dry and warm! Definitely water proof! Perfect for Cleveland snow storms. And it's very stylish.

I got these boots just in time for our weekend snow. I shoveled this morning and my feet stayed warm and dry! I did size up a half size because of other reviews. Fantastic, comfortable boot!

I LOVE these boots and wish I had bought them a long time ago! They look really nice and keep my feet really warm walking through snow. I was a little concerned the heel wouldn't be flat enough for walking on snow and ice, but I feel very comfortable. Plus- these are the best looking warm snow boots I have every had! I normally wear a size 7, but go up a half size for boots. The 7.5 fits perfectly! Thank you Sorel for making a good looking warm boot for winter conditions!

This boot is very cute but if you have fat feet please go up a size if you don’t then don’t put on thick socks it will make your feet hurt it make it feel tight

These are my first real pair of winter boots - growing up in Maine, I hated winter and the cold. I live in Montana now, these hold up so well in the snow and ice. I went snowshoeing with these on for about 2 hours and my feet were warm the entire time. I am usually a size 7, but sized up 1/2 a size up after reading other reviews. I highly recommend these boots, also my first pair of Sorel's!

Bought these for a trip to Park City, UT. We just so happened to be there during a huge snow storm & my boots weren't even phased!
As reviews before mine have stated- they are comfy right out of the box, they truly keep your feet warm & didn't have to layer up on socks. I trekked these boots through town, to snow mobile, & a moderately hard snow shoe hike were the snow easily reached my waist off trail!
They are light, easy to walk around town in, but also great for outdoor winter activities! Cannot scream my love of these enough! Worth ever penny!

I am 8 1/2 in sorel sneakers but 9 in sorel sandals & now these boots.
8 1/2 worked but not if I wanted to wear heavier socks so 9 was the perfect fit.
Awesome boots. I didn't need more boots but I love them.

I own a great pair of Sorel duck boots that have seen a lot of wear in the past 4 years and are still holding up great, but I wanted something that would keep my toes warm after hours outside on the coldest days. These boots were perfect! They add 2 inches to my height, which I love, and required zero breaking in. They're very comfortable and fit so well.

I've only worn these a few times but my feet stayed dry and warm. I'm usually a size 7 but ordered a 7.5 so I could wear with thick socks or two pair of socks. What I didn't realize is that they are slightly big to allow room for thick socks. Width wise they fit great but they are slightly long which works for me because I have more room in the toe box which I like. I just tie them up tight. My feet stay nice and warm.

I bought these boots a few weeks ago for our trip up north snowmobiling. My feet always get cold and this year they didn't. I read previous reviews so I did go a half size up to fit multiple layers of socks. Worked perfectly, and they look great too.
