I've been wearing these shoes for a few months now, and I'm so impressed by how they handle long distances. I recently completed a single day Rim 2 Rim 2 Rim double crossing of the Grand Canyon (83km), and they provided the perfect amount of cushion, even with the rocky and technical terrain. I also ran a 50 mile race in them this weekend, which was very runnable and hilly (and therefore high impact). I was so impressed with how well they handled, even with a few creek crossings. I found previous versions of the Norvan LD's to be a little stiff through the sole, but the 3's have found a great balance of support while still being responsive. I also love the extra toe-box room, but I did size down half a size from my normal runner shoe size (I tend to do this in all arc'teryx shoes).

I really love these shoes, they have pretty much replaced every other in-town, running or light hiking shoe. The lugs on the bottom of the shoes are great for trail running in loose, muddy, or snowy terrain; anything that needs a little extra dig to them. I've had other snow running shoes before, with really tall lugs, and wearing them felt like I was on a hundred tiny rubber stilts. The ground contact was very malleable and mushy on solid surfaces. These shoes are NOT like that! They are great, with just enough lug.
They are way more comfortable than I expected, sacrificing no cushion because of their lightness. There is a lot of cushion, giving nicely on heel strikes when running on hard roads.
I've never had issues with breathability of shoes, and these seem great too. Although I've wanted waterproof shoes for a while, like the Konseal, (again, I think my feet don't sweat), these have stood up to downpour in Hawai'i, and light walking through the snow, very well. If you are planning on very wet hiking, these will do the job!
The colors are fantastic too, I've gotten a lot of compliments.
I normally wear a size 38 or 6.5, but I wear the 6 or 37.333 in these.

I bought these for work because we need to have completely black shoes. I do a lot of moving and running around so I needed something very comfortable! These are great and I definitely will be also using them for hiking in the summer. I think I might need to get the pink ones too, so cute! The only thing I don't like is the laces come untied once or twice a day, which is fine when I'm at work but would be annoying out on the trails.

These grip really well on concrete or rock. They also have really good lateral movement.

My usual size 7-1/2 was much too big, even with very thick socks. (Interestingly, while I'm always a 38 in Euro sizing, these are marked 39-1/3.) Size 7 fits better and I don't have my usual problem with heel slippage. I've only worn them out 3 times so far, but am finding that they're pretty comfortable for walking around my neighborhood. I generally do about 4 to 6 miles per walk on hard surfaces. I do wish they were warmer but they have been keeping my feet dry in wet weather.

This is my 3rd pair of Norvans, I've had 1 pair of LD 2's and 2 pairs of LD3s. They last me about 6 months before tearing in the exact same spot every time. The latest pair has lasted me the least amount of time (< 3 months) so I don't know if Arcteryx is going for cheaper constriction now or what. I wish they lasted longer because they fit me perfectly!

My child said it was super comfortable and waterproof. She has shoe inserts, an extra bone and flat feet which make finding comfortable wearing. This is after less than one month of wearing them. I'm disappointed since it was so expensive.

Bought this pair right before my month long multi counties European trip. The size runs big, I purchased size 6 and i normally wear 6.5. But they are comfortable to wear right out of the box, very supportive, and fits well. Highly recommended.

i tend to go to the forest very often and I also like trekking a lot. I have bought those shoes because I was seeking for comfort and I wanted shoes that can be cleaned easily. Those shoes covered my needs fully :)

Going by looks, I was sceptical as I felt that they looked a little too much like a road shoe and were going to be too bulky. However, in action they are really great. Good cushioning without being bouncy, grip holds up to most terrain and feet feel secure. They even feel ok on the road. I am on my second pair...

For a long time I didn't like these shoes because of the laces but I finally found out that the tongue has an insert where you can hide the laces and I haven't had a problem since! These shoes are great for trail runs and hikes. I love how much cushion they have and it really rolls over the rocks, full 4x4 experience. The only thing to note, they come bigger than you'd expect so buy a half size down :) or if you like your shoes big like me keep to the same size !

I've been trying to find a shoe with enough cushioning but not too much that I don't feel the trail to run short distances while my hip labrum heals from tears. Super comfortable and so light. My go to shoe to bring on trips. And my favourite color! One size smaller than my usual shoe size

First, I often go up to a 10 in hiking/waterproof shoes and this is true to size, the 9 fits great. It has a wide toe box, which is fantastic. The cushioning is excellent. They felt great putting them on the first time - so I'm ordering another pair right away so I have a second when these need to be replaced. That's saying something!

Bought the shoe for running in winter/slush and for everyday life for cold days.
It has a good grip on snow and keeps the feet warm during cold days.

So happy to have found these shoes - the fit, width, support are all excellent and the pink color is just right. Couldn’t be happier and highly recommend them. Also, the shoes are high quality and the attention to detail is clear. I think I’ll have these for a long time.

These shoes are amazing! I wore them all summer for trail runs, mountain adventures, and even a few overnight backpacking trips. I honestly loved them as a light hiker. They are light, foot-fitting, and took no time to break in. I would LOVE if Arc brought back the electric blue colour - I received so many compliments on these, and the colour made me happy :) I am eager to try them out in colder conditions this winter. Pictured: wearing them for a trail race!

Last Spring, I purchased my first pair of the Norman LD 3. They fit my foot perfectly and I like them so much, I ordered another pair. I have a narrow arch and heel but I like a little wider toe box. This shoe keeps my foot snug but gives my forefoot plenty of room. And, just the right amount of cushion but not too high off the ground. I'm not a high mileage runner and these shoes have held up great. And, for me, they seem to run a little generous. I wear insoles and typically wear a 7.5. I sized down to 7 in these and they're perfect.

Everything the LD2 was lacking has been fixed in version 3, and then some. I have been blown away by the LD3 - perfectly widened toe box, better cushion throughout the sole, sturdier but still very lightweight upper, and an overall much better fit. The low-profile sticky rubber lugs on the sole are a great pattern and depth for all kinds of trails. The toe box shape and really nice cushion of the LD3 are standout.
