These are so much more durable than the LD2's that I lived in previously. It's nice to a have a bit of a wider toe box for longer runs too. The sole is extra sticky too which grabs to granite like no other. They serve as exceptional lightweight hiking shoes for the warmer months, which is an awesome lightweight option that I can also trail run in. 10/10 would recommend. I'm normally a size 7.5 US (Women's), but purchased a size 7, which fits perfectly.

I always think trail running shoes are not as comfortable as normal road running shoes. I was wrong! Norvan LD3 is my first pair of trail running shoes, I never expected trail running shoes can be that good. I have been running and hiking in it. One of the most satisfying purchases lately.

I have been wearing these around for a few months now and I love the support they give my whole foot. Compared to the LD 2 model I have more support around my midsole and they are great for all day adventures. Also, they tend to propel me forward when I am running and walking, very comfortable overall, I cannot wait to get more colors soon! The new model have more width and room in the toe box than the LD 2 and I bought a size 8.5, but I needed an 8.

I've been using the Norvan line for trail running for the last 3 years. Overall they are amazing shoes. I love the new update on the LD because the fit feels more forgiving for my wider forefoot.

fit well, perhaps slightly limited on arch support. they are light, stable with excellent grip. i bought yhem because they are waterproof. but after wearing inside for a few minutes decided to return. they are very hot/unbreathing which will be an issue for me.

Bought this pair right before my month long multi counties European trip. The size runs big, I purchased size 6 and i normally wear 6.5. But they are comfortable to wear right out of the box, very supportive, and fits well. Highly recommended.

I went by so many reviews that said size down and although they fit well my toe is right at the end but the toe box is great so hopefully I can make it work as I’ve been trying shoe after shoe after shoe for work and this one is definitely the best so far! I need to do a bit of walking to see if my toe is hitting the tip of shoe too much. I would have probably stayed with a size 8.

This is my 3rd pair of Norvans, I've had 1 pair of LD 2's and 2 pairs of LD3s. They last me about 6 months before tearing in the exact same spot every time. The latest pair has lasted me the least amount of time (<3 months) so I don't know if Arcteryx is going for cheaper constriction now or what. I wish they lasted longer because they fit me perfectly!

NOT Waterproof. The toes are, but despite being Gortex, your feet will definitely get wet in the rain. That being said, they are incredibly comfortable with great arch support and look good too. I was looking for a waterproof shoe, which this is not, but will definitely still keep them.

First, these shoes are awesome to wear. Springy, extremely comfortable, large shoe box. The only reason I went down a star is I thought that they were waterproof with gortex. They're definitely not waterproof or particularly water resistant. My first walk in the rain with them had my feet wet. I loved these so much for comfort and style that I bought a second pair, which I will still keep, but don't buy these if you're buying them with the thought they're water resistant. Otherwise, 5 starts.

Bought the shoe for running in winter/slush and for everyday life for cold days.
It has a good grip on snow and keeps the feet warm during cold days.

I bought the Norvan LD 3 shoes to replace my Norvan LD 2 shoes that I just loved for the past year. The fit was so different that I had to send them back. The LD 3s were way deeper in the front of the shoe and my foot moved around too much. The shoe almost creased when you walked in them. I bought them on a Black Friday sale and even though the price was good couldnt keep them.

I bought these shoes for endurance riding and running down hill when dismounted. They are very grippy, very comfortable and HOT. They are the only tennies I own where my feet sweat, regardless of the socks I'm wearing. They provide enough support and cusion though that I can overlook sweaty feet this winter. I likely won't be able to use them in the summer though. I hope the next version is more breathable and still offered in black. That would be the perfect shoe.
For reference; I'm between an 8.5 and 9 depending on the manufacturer. I bought both sizes to try and kept the 8.5. I agree with other reviews that these run long.

I got these shoes about a month ago. The tread is perfect for trail running and the quality of the shoe is also great - love the Vitality color! However, I am used to minimalist trail running shoes so I am still trying to adjust to the arch support in this shoe. I'm not sure its the best option for me since my feet are more on the flat side but I would still recommend trying this shoe for anyone who needs more support.

Good fit. Comfortable. Lost waterproofing after about one month of wearing them every other day walking about 2.5 miles in dewey grass.

Please make this in a 9.5. Love my Norvan LD 2 and was psyched about the LD 3 for longer runs. Keeping my fingers crossed because it is hard to find a cushioned trail runner that is also firm!

I want to preface this by saying the Norvan LD 2 is my favorite shoe of ALL time. I really can't say enough great things about them. They are truly the best all-around shoe I've ever had. I put so many trail and road running miles on my last pair and literally wore them until they fell apart I loved them so much. So, I was really excited to try the 3's because of the updates (and because I need a new pair). The 3's seem to be even more comfortable and have a bit more cushion, which for me at least, is a great upgrade. But, unfortunately they don't come in a 9.5, which is what I wore in the 2's. I was hoping the sizing had changed enough that either the 9's or 10's would work, but they just don't. Basically, I'm begging you to make these in a 9.5. Not really sure why the half sizes stop at 9 and I'm hoping this is more of a supply chain issue and not a weird sizing decision. Please make these in a 9.5!
