I've had these LD 3s since they first came out. I can last all day in these (including all day on the concrete jungle of Disneyland). My feet usually hurt at the end of the day in just about every other shoe. These are a great width too, not too narrow. I think Arc'teryx nailed this gen of LDs.

I just finished an 80km ultra and have put close to 200km on the shoe and I'm loving the shoe so far. The tread is great, there is plenty of cushion for long distance and it's a nice wide shoe for foot expansion. The shoe also dries quickly for river crossings and doesn't hold a lot of water, so it doesn't get too heavy. Overall, Arcteryx got it right with this shoe!

All around great shoe at a reasonable price. Tried a few of the other overpriced poplar brands in seach of the right shoe for my first 100 miler and with just over 50 miles on these shoes no doubt these are the shoes for Leadville.

I'm doing a Camino de Santiago and I tried several shoes from Merrell and Hoka before I found the Norvan LD 3. After using them for several months, while doing several hundred miles, with pack weight, I love these shoes. I like them so much that I now own three pairs. The only thing I might caution one about is that the shoe is so inherently bouncy, I find that paved, flat surfaces require slightly more attention. On unpaved surfaces, these shoes feel very comfy and super stable. They are made for "trail running" so I guess this makes sense.

After a year of these on trail, through rivers, I LOVE them. These are the best trail runners I have ever owned. I was hesitant to got back to laces after boa and speed laces, but honestly these are cheaper without Boa laces. And 1000 times better than speed laces. Actually, these laces are so good that they are a pain to untie after hard miles of hot desert. Mine had never came untied. I will never go back to GTX for a shoe. These dump water fast and dry enough that it's barely noticeable. I will 100 buy another pair before they stop making this model.

Extremely happy with those shoes! Very comfortable and stable. The sole has an excellent grip on most terrain, even a little mud. I also find then to be breathable so my feet stay dry and/or dry quickly if water penetrated. And thank you for having a size 12.5 available, which is not always the case in other brands. Love them!

This is a review specific to my foot shape/size but hopefully it will help. Tried the Sylan and Norvan LD3 and these came out on top Felt my foot didn't quite sit right in the Sylan as a few reviews have mentioned. Purchased around a month ago and they've had a good workout in Snowdonia on rock and in bogs! The toe box is roomy and heel lockdown is great in the Norvan LD3. Purchased UK size 11, for reference I have also worn NF Infinite UK11 & Saucony Peregrine UK11. Great grip on dry and wet trails, held up on damp Welsh rock not so great in mud, these would be almost perfect if they had 5/6mm lugs. They drain well and despite being well cushioned I feel they have a responsive minimal feel. Actually love the LD3, thanks Arc'teryx!

Love them, Classic bold design. Super grip. Comfort even after 20h in a race. Took them for Groglockner Ultratrail in Austria last year, didnt regret the choice. Only I had to switch the insoles, but I guess thats my Personal preference. Wore them for 500 Miles yet but they will do at least 800 miles I think. Please dont change them. Gonna need new ones at autumn

I bought these shoes several years ago for trail running during the pandemic. They are perfect, the grippy sole really helps when the trail are wet and uneven. Great for trail running and also for hiking.

Had these shoes for about a year, and really like them for trail runs. Very breathable without the gortex. Please Arc'teryx.. don't tinker with these. Keep the same shape and use the same materials. You like to tinker, but leave this model as is and turn it into a staple in the running world.

I'm currently on my second pair of these trail shoes, and they have become my go-to option for all-around trail running. I've even used them on mellower mountainous runs and a few 50k races. Initially, I was unsure about the extra amount of cushioning these shoes provide, but I've come to appreciate the comfort they offer, especially on longer days out on the trails. The grip and lugs on these shoes are impressive, as they transition seamlessly from muddy and rooty terrain to snowy surfaces and vice versa.

There is a lot of criticism around this shoe, which will always come when a new comer is on the scene. However after trying this shoe over a total of 200km's it's has performed outstandingly. Comfortability is amazing providing good level of support. The bounce and energy provided to your step feels charging .. Thanks top product as usual.

Love the new Norvan 3. More cushion and room overall, compared to the Norvan 2, although I like the 2 as well. Love the color and the grippy sole. Being able to store the laces in the little pouch is great - especially when I commute to work on my bike. Really loving these new shoes. Keep up the good work - Arc!
