Perfect fit. Not bulky easy to wear over sweaters if needed

Great look, super stretchy material that allows for movement and water repellent.

Haven't tested it out in heavy rain yet, but overall, the best rain jacket I've ever owned. Design is simple and effective. I can layer underneath it in cold weather. My last jacket of this type was a Marmot, but this is far sturdier. I think it'll last a long time. And it even looks good.

Everything you need. Large zippered chest pocket, zippered hand pockets. Underarm ventilation even though the gore-tex is breathable. Also 100% waterproof.

Excellent coat. This is a element resistant shell and wouldn't function as a stand alone jacket in really cold weather, but is great for what it is. Quality construction, spot-on sizing (matches Columbia sizing), and very good color (I got the blue)

Jacket is great. True to size. Well made. Lightweight and durable.

Exactly what I was hoping for. A nice outer layer to provide warmth and weather proofing. Haven't tested in sustained rain and wind yet. Sizing is perfect, I usually wear Med and this Med runs a tad big to allow for layering without feeling bulky.

I love this jacket. It is light and durable. Breathes well and repels water perfectly - and I can condense it pretty small to make sure it goes on all my trips. Saved me so many times. Highly recommend

This jacket fits great, it's comfortable, and kept us dry in the rain at Disney World. The hood was nice to keep our heads from getting wet. I liked the pocket on the chest for easy phone access.

Great shell jacket! I wear it almost everyday and love it especially with the weather in PNW (tons of rain). Paired with a hoodie it keeps you super warm as well.

This jacket replaces a similar one I bought in 2014. That Marmot jacket got me though a typhoon in China and lots of dirty job sites. I really like how sophisticated the new dark blue color is, also the new jacket is cut very nicely and dresses up really well without looking like you're trying. I rarely write reviews but I really like this jacket.

Just got this - fits great (5'11'', 185lb, Sz L), and is made with attention to all the details. The photos here don't do this shell justice. Fabric is just the right weight and feel for a rain/wind shell. Heavy enough for mid-temp weather and not at all bulky to add layers underneath. Too bad these pics are just glamour shots and don't show the inside of the jacket: seams, zippers and pockets are magnificent pieces of craftsmanship. I AM IMPRESSED! Can't wait for some rain (for so many reasons here in CA, and now to wear my new Marmot shell, too). After so many other meh experiences shopping on-line, if you couldn't tell, this jacket has made me joyous! And, in my experience, Marmot stands behind their gear, which is also nice. This will be by go-to jacket as it gets cooler or unpredictable. It also packs nicely into the front pocket of my carry-on, so great travel shell, too.

I really like how the jacket holds up in the rain, so far no matter how bad the storm gets I stay dry. I also really like how durable the jacket feels and I hope it will last for years.

From casual rainy days around town to chilly days out on the boat , these jackets are truly great. I have been using the minimalist jackets for years! I Look forward to adding the pro version to my collection :)

This items is really for traveling and for unpredictable weather. Perhaps it wont protect from your a shower rain, hitting your sideways, but if you think there wont be a major rainfall and you dont want to take a lot of stuff with you that takes up space, this jacket is amazing.

I got this jacket because I did El Camino de Santiago, I wanted something light but good to keep me dry and it did. now I wear it when it is raining to go anywhere, walking hiking or just because I am going to daily stuff. it fits well and feels great, I like it.

Love this jacket. I'm a whitewater rafting guide. Use it during rainy days and in the winter when snowboarding. Keeps me warm and dry no matter the conditions.
