BEST SOCKS EVER, WEAR LIKE IRON,ALWAYS WARM , WEAR THEM ALL WINTER

Thick, warm, non-binding on the ankles, stay up in boots or slippers, and just like they have always been. The best socks ever, unless you know someone who can knit some with wool bases and Angora ankles. I go through 2 pair a year, with boots in winter, as slippers and to step in to outdoor clogs, etc etc. Extra large is a tiny bit big for me, but as they shrink a bit in the wash I get them a little big. I try not to put them in a hot dryer.

I love these socks. Also, I got the grey because the neat colors were all back ordered and i lucked out. The grey color is way cooler in person than in the photos

Good thick comfortable

These are wonderfully warm and cosy. I wear a 10 1/2 shoe and bought the large. The socks are a tad loose, but they stay up, and they wash beautifully. I have Reynaud's disease so my feet are freezing all winter but these keep my feet warm and toasty.

these to replace a pair that finally worn out after years of wear. Soft and loose enough (for healthy circulation) to keep my feet warm in bed, yet seem made for hard-wearing. I wear a women's shoe size 10.5EE.

These socks are perfect for the tall man because they are cotton rag and because of their length (vertical) up the calf and the fact they stay up without pinching the leg....I liked them so much that I ordered more.

The socks have kept my feet toasty on these cold winter days. I love them.

I purchased for my husband as a gift. He loves them . He snowblows a long drive/lane and walks 2-3 miles almost every day in -15 to 75+ degree weather in Northern MN! He likes the longer height above his boot level because it keeps the snow at bay away from his skin. Keep up the good workLLBean!

Bought these for my husband. Have purchased several pair in the past. They really hold up wash after wash. Like the dark grey color. However, this last purchase was disappointing as one of the socks has a hole in it. Should I return it?

I love these socks. They are the perfect thickness, softness and degree of warmth. They do not itch. They are perfect for outdoor activities in cold climates, indoor activities and for sleeping in. They have been my go-to socks for many years. In my opinion, they are better than all other ragg wool socks, other name-brand wool socks and any and all socks in general. Thank you L.L. Bean!! Have purchased these socks for my son for many years. He is very particular about his clothing and like these socks because they are soft and so comfortable. He always counts on them as part of his Christmas gifts.

I bought these for a Christmas gift for my daughter, and she loved them. Is using them to wear around the house without shoes.

These Merino Wool Socks complement my new L.L. Bean Gore Tex Thinsulate boots well. They both help to keep my feet warm while extracting moisture from my feet. Good buy for the money.

I love my docs, and I love them even more with these socks it's as though they were insulated, yet they breathe. Wonderful.

I buy these socks for my husband. His feet are damaged from diabetes. They are always cold. These socks provide him with warmth year round. They don't bind and the upper section does not fall down or even sag. He has 8 pairs but 2 of them he has had for about 5 or 6 years and are still in excellent condition. You just don't wear them out. I machine wash and machine dry them with no fading or shrinkage.

I bought these for my father and he loves them! The wool socks don't shrink as much as cotton socks. They keep his feet warm and dry while he's working outside.
