These very comfortable socks provide nice cushion for your feet. I only want to wear these socks! They wash up perfectly but do take a bit longer to dry. But that is what makes them so wonderful on your feet.

Wear (only) wool socks year "round. Have worn BEAN socks for decades. NEVER ! had a problem with them.

Fit and comfort level can't be beat.

Backordered, so I had to wait more than a month for them to arrive, but they were worth waiting for. Well made, comfortable with or without LL Bean boots. (I like to wear them alone on carpeted floors at 61 degrees or warmer.) Medium fits my size 8 shoe foot very well. I haven't washed them yet, so I can't comment on whether there is any shrinkage. When I do wash them, I will use cold water.

Superb quality. These socks reminded me socks my grandma was knitting. You feel warmth, but not overheated. Best climate control so to speak. I would buy more soon. Surprisingly in Los Angeles I get cold in the winter.

These are thed best cold seather asocks I have ever purchased. Could not be happiedr withn them.

It's what you'd expect from LL bean. Fits right Comfy Durable Washable Solid appearance I like LL Bean cause it just works. And these socks just work. I use to wear a standard brand. I live in New England so I wanted a warmer sock for winter and this did the trick. I'll be buying more

They are so warm, they make your feet sweat if they are warn indoors.

I purchased the "Adults' Merino Wool Ragg Socks - 10 inch, 2 pack" to replace a pair I purchased a few years ago. This time I ordered the blue color. As I have small feet I order the small size. The socks fit well, wear well and are nice and warm during the winter/colder/cooler weather. I wear them inside the house as well as outside with my winter boots, also LLBean and my moccasins, also LLBean.. A good purchase for a nice price.

I love these extremely comfortable and warm merino wool socks! They are perfect for my 6" Bean Boots. They are very warm, heavy and so very soft! I'm sure I'll be wearing these socks for many years to come!

My husband eats the heels out of stockings (not literally). He also cannot stand socks that droop. He loves socks that keep his tender little toes warm. I bought these socks for me once and he promptly stole them, and they lasted years! We were so happy to find LL still carried them. They are worth their weight in wool AND gold!

It may be the perfect everyday winter wool sock. Very comfortable, not bulky, not too tight, not falling off. More colors please!!

I have ordered 8 pairs of these socks now in size L . I love them. I wear a size 9 women's shoe. These are a tiny bit big, but when I wash and dry them they are perfect. So warm on these below zero nights. Next Christmas I'm giving as gifts to friends. I love the gray and the multicolor. Too thick to go into my shoes but great in boots.

Very comfortable, so warm and snug in outdoor rubber boots for slossy, cold winter weather even here in the South. Can wear with boots only. Would wear them with regular outdoor hiking boots of a larger size although fit garden boots well as is.

Ordered these for husband. Has a couple pair of LL Bean rag wool socks from years ago that are still in good shape. Retired now and needed more for casual wear. They are warm and do not itch. He loves them.

The Merino wool rag socks are so warm and comfortable that when I eventually get holes in them I order a new pair. I don't want to be without them any time of year for they keep my feet warm and cozy!

I like the socks. I like merino wool-it does not harbor bacteria that causes odor. The socks fit great with my new LL Bean boots!

The merino wool 10" high socks I purchased from L. L. Bean are warm, comfortable, and perfect for wearing with my L. L. Bean slip-on shoes during the cold winter months, and the merino wool is not itchy like other wools. I love them!

Bought these for my husband for Christmas. Unfortunately they were back ordered but that lets you know what a good product these are. They are warm and machine washable. Not too tight either which makes it easier for an older person to put on and take off. Time will tell how long lasting they are but I have high hopes since they are made by llbean.

I ordered per the size chart for my shoe size (7 1/2 to 8) and socks fit very well. I have no issues with the seam on the toe. It sits about an inch down from the tips of my toes, lies on top of sock and is not bothersome. This seam is what you will always find on manufactured socks. To eliminate, you can always knit your own. But, it's much faster if you order from LL Bean! I wash them in cold water and hang to dry to avoid shrinkage. The length is a little more than I like at 10", but that's how they're advertised. They are not crew socks. They come up about mid-shin on me. I recommend these socks.
