This toe wrap sandal is just perfect for those of us who cannot tolerate a toe thong. The suede covered cushioned foot bed prevents the "swish splat" sound that many slide sandals make because of their footbed materials. I like that you don't slide around on that footbed either even if you step in a puddle. Being a Merrell the outside/bottom sole is tough and not prone to slipping and a step into a puddle does not mean your pair is ruined forever. The slight heel and arch support work nicely to keep your foot comfortable even on longer strolls. I had my first pair for three years. Actually I still have them and slip them on if I need to run outside to do some quick garden tasks or find something in the garage. Though they are still a solid sandal I thought a new pair for more social events would look better than the well loved pair. From what I could or could not find online I became worried the style was going away. How happy I am to see them back and in new colors. It wasn't until I, on a whim and a sale, gave the earlier version of these Terrans a try. I was sure I would never own a pair of flip flop sandals. These sandals changed everything. Easy on and easy off. I still do not understand how people find the thin round stem of a flip flop remotely comfortable but I have my pair of Terrans that felt broken in from day one. And for those of you with foot issues the sole is stiff and not bendable helping to keep your foot supported while the padded inner foot bed cradles your foot. I speak from having had four foot surgeries. These are the only non strap sandals I ever recommend.

I have been wearing in the house every day since I received them. They are so comfortable with a very good arch support. I also have a pair at our summer residence.

I got these sandals for a trip to Hawaii, and I've practically worn them everywhere since. I'm a half size (9.5), so I sized up (10) and they fit perfectly. They are cute enough to wear out in the evening and comfortable enough to wear all day walking. I've worn these on trails in the Volcano National Park, on the streets of Waikiki and all throughout Jordan. They were the perfect vacation stores of 2022, and I plan to get them in another color this year!
