I liked the way they felt as I slipped my foot in. The footbed surface has a suede feel to it. The strap felt a bit constricting as I often wear a wide shoes. I ended up sending them back as the Sketchers Outdoor lifestyle slides I ordered at the same time, have an adjustable strap which helped with fit. Just wish they had the suede footbed…Alas we can’t have it all most days.

I really like these shoes. The fit is true to size. Unfortunately I will be returning the shoes because the bottom (the part where you put your foot, not the bottom of the shoe) is SO slippery! The shoes where a tiny bit wide for my foot, but not bad, and the shoes kept wanting to fly/fall of because they were slick. I'm so sad because I like the shoe!

I had to return these for a larger size. I don't know what it is with Merrell that they refuse to make accurate sizes. Every pair I've got from them runs way too small. So, since I went up a size the footbed fits well now, but that has made the upper too big and loose. At first I thought it was comfortable and a joy to be unconstricted by that, but in reality they are just way too loose. The stretch fabric is cut too large, and the leather straps, instead of being tight to provide support (as the zappos video stated), are even more loose than the upper. I keep wondering what I can do to them to make them fit, but the style does not lend itself to modification very well - I may have to bring them in to a cobbler to have them adjusted, if possible. But, the sole is extraordinarily comfortable, and wear them to garden. The handle water and dirt well, and dry quickly.

Due to plantar fasciitis, going barefoot is painful, so these slides serve as indoor slippers. Lightweight, comfortable, nicely cushioned

I wear size 81/2 so the 9 is a tad bit large but a great salad and quite comfy.

I have 6 pairs of this style of Merrill Sandals. However this pair was cut different and the shoes were too narrow. Merrill does not sell narrow width shoes so this pair must be defective. It’s sad because I love this style and they work so well since I have knee issues and this brand and style are normally so perfect and comfortable. . Sadly will return
