Great features, great look, ... too bad you don't offer a 11 and a half size: you do offer a 10 and half

I haven't had these shoes long enough to rate the durability, but they have been comfortable from the very first time I wore them. They are a great easy hike shoe. I do wear them with arch inserts, like I do all of my shoes. There is plenty of room for the inserts. I particularly like the wide toe box. My toes are not squeezed.

Finally a truly wide toe box. Love the foot support . Feels comfortable from the start. Laces are a bit slippery and come undone but that can be fixed. Only Hiked 4 miles in them, so far no issues. They are not the nicest looking but if they feel this comfortable..I'll be happy.

These are so comfortable on me right out of box. I used to wear the higher version, but because of my Achilles tendinitis, I switched to the lower model and it really works for me. No uncomfortable pressure on the heel area. Great stability and grip and Ive worn them in some pretty wet conditions and my feet stay dry. If I could change one thing about them, it would be that I wish they were a little cushier in the sole.

Ive been wearing Merrill hikers for 40 years, originally to hike Mt Mansfield. Now, with my foot joints filled with arthritis, I depend on Moab 3 for support, stability, protection, awesome tread and warmth walking the sidewalks in suburbia. These hikers will take you anywhere on any terrain.

My Merrill Moabs are the greatest shoes Ive ever had. Right out of the box, they fit like a glove. They have carried me on the Appalachian Trail and everywhere else that I go. I wear them everyday for the support and comfort they provide. I am 72 years old. I love the extra space in the toe box in the wide size, I ordered 8 1/2 Wide. Definitely recommend.

These shoes are awesome!! I wore them straight out of the box, despite a painful Mortons neuroma, for 8 days of hiking through Iceland and walking over cobblestones in Amsterdam. I averaged 6-9 miles per day. They were very comfortable and kept my feet perfectly dry, through heavy downpours and many puddles. I bought a half-size up, to have room for wool socks with sock liners. I highly recommend these hiking shoes.

I love my Moab 3 Waterproof Merrell's! These are the only shoes, since I was diagnosed with Planters Fasciitis, that my feet don't hurt in. I, now, have 2 pair. Thank you Merrell!!!!

Bought these a week ago, after I basically wore my unlikely hikers out in the past 6 months! The Moab 3 is one of Merrells best made hiking shoes. So much more support than the old Moabs, much beefier, comfortable right out of the box, better tread,no slipping here.I own 11 pairs of Merrell hiking shoes and I can honestly say the Moab 3 and unlikely hikers are the best. My only complaint, is you dont have any old broads as shoe testers! You all have neglected the great old broads market. Im 65 year old avid hiker ,averaging 30 to 50 miles a week. Since I live in Colorado, I wear your shoes everyday to hike the trails by my home, from Rocky Mt. N.P. to the Flatirons. So instead of always having a cute, young person in your ads ,you need to start putting great old broads in, who actually hike everyday in your shoes!

I bought these shoes specifically for my trip to the Rocky Mountains. They worked out wonderfully. The size I purchased was perfect except when going downhill. I normally wear 8 1/2-9 but should have bought a 9 1/2. Otherwise, theyre great.

These shoes are a staple in my wardrobe. Ive worn them for years, only ever needing to replace them due to mishaps on my part (dog chewed one up, spilled concrete in another). This time Ive leveled up and purchased a pair for work (construction) and a pair to keep as hikers, as I log many miles each week on the Cumberland Trail. They continue to be the most comfortable work and hiking shoes Ive found for my overpronation and the waterproofing keeps me dry without being sweaty year round.

I can't say anything just terrible about shoe. I ordered a Keen, Merrell, Oboz, & Columbia looking for a waterproof hiker with heel cushion since I have plantar fasciitis. After trying all, the Merrell came close, but the Columbia had the best cushion therefore the best comfort for me. I also liked the Columbia better since I was packing for a trip. The Merrell is probably a more sturdy shoe but also a little heavier. I just needed a light hiker for Yellowstone & Teton trails.
I'd also recommend:
Columbia

They fit well and the color is great. A bit heavier than expected but not prohibitive. Have not used them in wet conditions, so I cant speak to that.

I bought these 3 years ago they are still in decent shape I use them on all my monthly hiking water sports and camping trips. The do get wet on top mesh of shoe and they stay wet for a couple days but they dont breakdown like done hiking shoes. The only thing they broke down was the shoe strings. I want to get another pair just to have a different color.

I bought Moab 2 waterproof hiking shoes at REI in April 2022. Unfortunately they started leaking on day 1 of a bicycle trip in Norway. It rained every day and both of my feet were soaked the entire week. The sole materials of the right shoe are badly delaminating around the toe box. The left is slightly delaminated. Both leaked terribly. Unfortunately REI did not help because they were purchased over 1 year ago ( I purchased them 16 months ago ). Disappointing product and experience. Do not buy.

Love these shoes! I take my dog out hiking and spend a lot of time at the waters edge.. I end up getting wet but my feet stay dry! I know my dog loves it since we stay out playing longer. Great soles also- my feet do not get sore

My toes got bruised whenever I wore these shoes although I ordered wide width. The first pair of shoes gave me bruises. Customer service is very bad, and didnt want to help me exchange. I and my family were their loyal customers for years and not anymore.

Bunions drive me to wider and bigger shoes. Sadly, cannot lace them tightly to fit more snugly for better fit because of bunions. Not your fault, Merrill! Liner fabric and laces are a briar magnet.

I purchased these shoes for a trip to Iceland before discovering that I needed a higher show for ankle support during steep hikes. I wore this lower cut to break them in but there want any break in required. I did jot develop any blisters or sore spots and wore them for 4-6 hours right out of the box. I loved the stabilisation they had for my healing broken foot. I ended up buying the sister shoe for my hiking the Moab 3 Mid Waterproof. Merrell has really hit the mark for me with these products.

I bought my first pair of Merrells for a recent safari trip to Tanzania. They were perfect! They felt worn in and incredibly comfortable. The terrain was a mixture of red dirt/sand and rocky. I felt very stable on both. These are my new favorite shoes!

My Merrells were a perfect choice for my hiking trip. Traversed a fair amount of wet mud, rocks and boulders and my shoes were comfortable and dry. These were my first Merrell shoes and I would definitely buy them all over again.

I own six pairs of Merrells, from sandals to winter boots, and always take the same size. These hiking boots fit a bit small, and I had to go up a half-size for fit. I haven't had a chance to put these in the wild yet, but the quality (as with all my other Merrells) is there.
