Great shoe, very comfortable and a good shoe for hiking on easy/moderate trails. Quick drying when used kayaking.

I used these water shoes on a Boundary Waters canoe trip in September, and they did just what I wanted them to do. I could walk in the water and on the portages with confidence in my footing, and without pebbles getting inside and being uncomfortable. They drained quickly when needed (getting into the canoe), allowed room for neoprene socks or could be tightened more for barefoot wearing. Plus the price was right. I'm now rethinking my wading choices for future fishing trips to keep these, with calf-high neoprene sock, as an easier option than full chest waders if the water's right for it. Part of my water sports quiver.

In m opinion, one of the best shoes merrell as made. I am a size 15 and they fit comfortable. Great looking, great for the beach, great for everyday wear. If they don't produce them again it would be a shame. I'd buy 5 pairs

I had a broken big toe, and was going on a float trip. So I needed a water sandal with a generous toe box. The Sieve was perfect for this. Of course, I'll wear them for future trips long after the toe is healed. The aggressive sole and good support make for good traction and injury prevention on slippery, rocky river bottoms.

I picked up a pair of Speed Strike as a replacement for my previous pair of sandals. I put in about 100miles of trail walking / running within 2-3 weeks of the purchase. I have been very happy with the first pair, I went out and bought a second pair so that I could rotate thru the sandals. I used the second pair for hiking the Rocky mountains -- Stormy peaks, commanche peak and mammoth mountain. The sandals were sturdy and comfortable. The upper is built like a tank - very protective and durable. The tongue is thickly padded and helps the lockdown stay comfortable. The sole feels firm and stiff on the roads, yet comfortable. The sandals are very comfortable on dirt track paths and other off-road terrain. I now use these for my daily trail walkers with my dog.

I bought a pair in July primarily to wear at and around the beach. They are comfortable whether on the sand, on the boardwalk, or walking around town. They are really comfortable, sand shakes right out, and getting wet is no problem. Summer is over and we are back in VT and they are so comfortable I wear them for hiking, yard work, running errands. I won't put them away until the snow flies!

Sensory sensitive son tried on many pairs of hiking shoes before declaring these the winner. Their mesh siding does make them more prone to take in dirt and small pebbles but he is excited to take them white water rafting in January.

Simms used to make a sandal that I called ATV's for the feet. The Simms sandal I'm referring to were a few iterations ago and they seem to be out of the sandal business. These Merrell's are the first sandals that I can compare to those old Simms. I've been wearing them in SW Montana streams and on trails. They fit well, grip rocks about as well as anything other than felt and have good support for trail walking. Liked 'em. I bought a second pair.

Good shoe for swamp kayaking. Comfortable in boat, in water, and while portaging.

When it's hot outside, and I don't want to wear socks [though I do sometimes], these shoes are what I prefer for walking and biking. Comfortable, with the requisite toe protection when out and about. I did prefer the previous model for hot weather, and put a few hundred miles on the 2 pair I had. I plan too buy another pair next year as well :-)

I've been wearing these for a couple months now and absolutely love them. They are holding up really well to all kinds of terrain and the built in lace/tightening combo hold great. Buying a second pair!

I bought these for walking on the beach during an Outer Banks vacation. With a thin sock inside to keep the sand friction away, they were awesome. No she is going to keep out all beach sand but these kept out 95%. I walked 3-4 miles every day along the beach. They exceeded my expectations.

The summer here in The Sip can be a little warm, these shoes are great, cool, comfortable and easy to wear.
