Love merrell shoes fit great never hurt don't need to be broken in.Took them on a trip to japan kept my feet warm and dry.

I wear Merrell Moab's for work (automotive field), my Moab2 were due to be replaced. After seeing they offered a Moab3 Waterproof decided to give them a shot. I'm glad I did! So comfortable out of the box. If you are on the fence don't be give em a shot.

I purchased these waterproof hikers for my daily walks in my neighborhood in Portland, Oregon. Though my neighbor hood is not truly similar to a woodlands trail, it does have uneven road surfaces and sidewalks that require good traction and great stability, which these shoes more than adequately provide. I also sometimes walk through the grassy areas of neighborhood parks and green spaces, which too can be uneven, wet and slippery. I find the support and comfort of the Merrills excellent for these reasons in these conditions. Im not walking on a padded level track, and even if I were, Id give these shoes a try on such a surface, especially in the rain.

I purchased and returned over 10 pair of shoes looking for a gray/black hiking or "bad weather" shoe/boot in the past few months. Some from Zappos, others from various vendors. I am obviously difficult to fit, partly because I have a bad knee which makes a boot impractical, though I really wanted that style. I also need a wide width 90% of the time. I tried 3 shoes/boots from Columbia, and even the wide width were "foot crushing". A few months ago I purchased Merrell Jungle Moc slip on shoes to be used when I let our dog out back in the yard. I live in a northern climate on a hill, so needed something with "grip". I could not have picked a better shoe - comfortable, easy to get on and off, wear well and definitely "grip". These Merrells are just as good so far. They fit well and perform as expected. My only disappointment is that they don't make a wide width in black, which I really like. Odd, because the non-waterproof version is available in black wide width !???

I am beginning to think that Zappos is acquiring factory seconds from manufacturers. I have worn Merrills exclusively for the past decade, but there is something odd about this shoe. Its tongue is wider than normal, at least compared to the other pair of Merrills I have now, and different from any Merrills I've owned in the last 10 years (at least 6 pairs). The size of the shoe itself is fine, which is why I did not return them, but in wearing them over an extended period of time, they are extremely uncomfortable on both feet. As a result, I have worn them exactly twice and will likely not wear them again. I have exercised brand loyalty, as well as loyalty towards Zappos, but I am beginning to question the wisdom of that, especially if Zappos is acquiring factory seconds in order to improve their profit margin.

Used Merrill right out of box on 4 mile walk. This is my 3rd or 4th pair. I get more miles out of them than from tennis shoes. Very sturdy and comfortable.

Just got my Moab 3 waterproof lows today and they are even better than the Moab 2 lows that I have been buying for years . The best shoe in this type of shoe ( Great )

This is my 3rd pair in this style - they are comfortable enough to wear all day, yet waterproof and with sufficient warmth to wear securely outside during inclement weather.

Love the width of this shoe. You don't realize your feet are being "squeezed" until they're not. Bought these for wet weather cycling on the west coast. Love 'em.

Functional, fashionable, comfortable and do what they say they do. Birding in Maine this weekend with a heavy, then melting, frost in a field Mohab 3 lived up to it's waterproof billing. Totally satisfied. Thanks Merrell.
