This is the 7th pair of MOAB 3's (Wide Width) that I have purchased.
The fit and quality is what I have come to expect. I can take these out of the box and they fit like they have been broken in.
I get 1000 Km of use before I need to replace them. I have a small wide foot (7.5W) that are generally easy to get online, but nearly impossible to get in the stores in Canada.
I hope Merrell continues to make this hiking shoe for many years to come.

Great fit, long lasting, wish they provided spare lace strings

I wear my Moabs out and about town. They are my go to shoe when it is raining or snowing . I like the traction I get in the snow and my feet stay dry. I wear my previous pair to do lawn work and gardening .

I bought my first pair of Merrell Moab 3 Waterproof Hiking Shoes on June 19, 2023 and found that within 2 months they had stretched so much that my heel was getting blisters because they had become too large for me. At the same time the inside of the heel on each shoe was starting to come apart and the laces on one of the shoes started to fray and then broke on me.
I stopped wearing these and went to find a Hiking Boot or Shoe that would stand up to the short walks I was taking around my neighbourhood as well as some of the trails I liked to walk.
I would never buy a pair of Merrell Hiking Boots or Shoes again, as the don't offer quality support at the heel or along the font/sides.

You can't go wrong with the Moab product. I use the Moab 3 for work as I am walk most of the day. These are my 4th pair. They are comfortable and endurable.

I live in NYC and am retired. I have found Merrill shoes to be ideal for daily walking around. The only problem is they are bit too grippy and can cause a trip if you drag your feet! I now always order waterproof Merrills as the weather here demands it.

This is my second pair and I have not walked in them yet. I bought them because my previous Moab 3 Waterproof have gotten dirty and stained in March 2023 when I walked the Jesus Trail in Israel. Overall, 55 miles with some side hikes in mud and other conditions. The shoes are the best I have ever owned. No blisters and great footing.

I'm on my second pair, 4-5 years now(?)! They are comfortable, durable and look good. I spend a lot of time working around the yard, in the woods, and walking the dogs through wooded trails. Even the older pair has held up well, just a bit dirty. I usually go through a couple inserts. Most wear is on the inserts. Though my Moabs weren't the waterproof version.

I truly enjoys
my Moab's. I love the grippy bottoms that excel on trails and steep terrain. They're lightweight and allow me to cover a lot of ground in a start amount of time. I use mine for gardening, hiking, and chasing quail and chukar in rocky country.

Fit beautifully right out of the box bought online. No blisters or discomfort. Merrills only brand that consistently fit my wide feet.

Gave 5 stars based on comfort and waterproof abilities. I work in a brewery and around beer, caustic and acids. Did a little bit of hiking but basically use them as work shoes. Have had them for 4 weeks so far and they're holding up great

These shoes work as advertised, I bought them because I was sick of getting soaked socks through soaked shoes, particularly when walking through thick dewy grass. So far these have kept my feet perfectly dry through that and much worse. Haven't tried fully submerging them in water but so far nothung has managed to get in. I also find them very comfortable and while they feel heavy in my hand they somehiw feel lighter on my feet than objectively lighter shoes. I don't think I would recommend for running but I feel they are great for hiking. I use them for disc golf as well as a general everyday shoe mostly.

I like the wide width for comfort, and do find them very waterproof. This is the 3rd pair of this exact shoe I have purchased on line. My only concern is this 3rd pair is just slightly different fit in length. Not enough to change my opinion, but it is a tiny bit shorter. I thought it would be identical.

I bought a pair of the Moab 3 Waterproof boots this week. The grass was wet and after about 20 minutes of walking my dog, my feet were wet as well. Anything but waterproof. Perhaps labeling them as water resistant would be more accurate. Calling them waterproof is false advertising.

We were hiking in the Tetons and a rain storm came up. Plenty of rain but the shoes didn't let any moisture thru to my socks. Well with it.

Good traction and stability. Great protection to soles of feet from rocks/pinted objects.
Sizing spot on are comfortable shoes. Great successor to previous shoes the Moab 2's.

I love the fit of the wide width version of this shoe but the sole has separated from the shoe on the last pair I purchased. Trying to decide whether to replace them.

I have had this shoe for close to a year, comfort is excellent, durability is good, but the waterproofing has left a lot to be desired. I am hoping to try applying a spray coating of waterproofing. Let you know.

Very nice boots; should have got 14 W rather than 14M though, to accommodate boot socks.
