Merrells are pretty much the only footwear I use anymore and I put a lot of hard miles on them. These were immediately put to use stalking mule deer with a bow and pheasants with my hound during and after some serious rain. They kept my feet dry and ankles intact as well as providing great footing throughout.

Hiked very demanding terrain long hours without even feeling the boots. Very good traction uphill AND downhill, extremely comfortable from the get go, no need to break in. Ample toe box. Good ankle support without feeling tight.

Wore them outside in rainy/snow mix and upper 20sF. Quite comfy and warm.

Very comfortable supportive hiker that grips all types of terrain during wet or dry conditions keeping my feet dry allowing me to hike for many more miles.

I've worn 10.5 for years, but the Merrill 10.5 reg was too tight and the 10.5 wide was too big; the laces at the bottom now cinch up a bit with the wides. On my next purchase of MOAB shoes I tried the 10.5 regular, 10.5 wide, and 11 regular. I'm much happier with the fit of the 11s. My recommendation is buy (charge) several of various sizes, figure out what fit is the best, then return the others. The return process was very easy.

I was introduced to this brand by my wife. For us who work outside and on gravel in heat, cold, and wet, these are the only shoes that can take both wear and tear. Literally the worst conditions for long lasting footwear. Thank you! Ps - do not change your shoes!!!

Bought these boots for upcoming Western Canadian winter for hiking, walking & day to day use. They are out of the box waterproof, but still spray protected them. Took them out of the box & instant comfort, perfect fit & very solid boot. Great laces that stay tied up, padded tongue & very solid vibram sole. The Earth color is very neutral & goes well with all clothing. I highly recommend this boot. If wearing thick socks with it, you might want to consider the wide width. Great boot Merrell!!

Great to use right out of the box. No break in period. Not hot. Not heavy. Good grip on slippery rocks and gravel

Although I have not hiked in the mountains in my boots, I have walked a number of streets in San Francisco in them. I have also gone to concerts in them as well. They are so confotrable

I hike over 2000 k a year and never disappointed with Merrell. Over the years this would be at least my 12th pair. They have great support and traction and yes the waterproof works.

These are my second pair of Moabs bay I've owned. My first pair were one of my prized possessions. I wore them in close to 25 states, all 4 time zones, about 6 national parks, and they had been in both Oceans and the Gulf of Mexico. The tow was stained by the Pacific Ocean on Canon beach in Oregon. And that doesn't include wearing them daily for almost 5 years. Here's to hoping my Moab 3s (which I love and are an amazing value) get the same experiences.

Comfortable, good traction, stable, durable...bottom line: a very good day++ hiking boot. Snug fit, single lacing lug seals the deal.

3rd or 4th pair I've owned, you can always count on Moab's to handle a rocky trail. Great ankle support and traction, good for everyday hiking.

I was love putting this boot on, and it helps to know that I can go through any kind of terrain and come out on the other end dry as a bone. It fits really well and it is just a joy to wear.

I have neuropathy, so all shoes are a problem for me. These boots are so comfortable, I can hunt with my dog all day. Im Super happy with my boots

This mid boot is a great fit for adventurous hikers. Lightweight and very breathable construction make a perfect match for any outdoor explorer. I have been wearing Merrell since the days of the Tacoma. The price and comfort can't be beat.
