I'[ve been wearing Merrell for several years because I like their ruggedness, and they have a size 13W that works well for me.

Still breaking in the Moab 3s to replace my 3 yr old pair of Moab 2s. So far they feel just as comfortable as previous pairs. I plan to take these on a walking/hiking trip to Germany and Switzerland this summer. If they are even close to my old pair in comfort and durability I will be happy. My old pair have about 3k miles on them with some miles left, hope the new ones are still as good.

I bought 2 pair size 13. One was made in Bangladesh the other was made in Vietnam. The shoes are very different. The one from Bangladesh has very little padding and the one from Vietnam seemed to have almost way too much padding. The odd thing is the one with little padding from Bangladesh weighs in at 549 grams, while the one with a ton of padding from Vietnam weighs in at 518 grams. The one from Vietnam with all the padding seemsto push the foot way forward. However the stitching and leather quality on the Bangladesh seemed higher. Comparing the pairs side by side its like 2 completely different shoes on top with the other thing looking consistent being the soles. I have pictures but it doesn't look like it will et me add.

I bought these shoes for work. I have been having problems with arch and heel pain. 59 year old male, 5'9" 150 lbs. I am on my feet all day working on a fast paced in patient surgical floor.

Picked up a new pair of low rise shows for hitting the adventure trails. Took them to Montral for some cold weather break in and they are comfortable right out of the box. Next stop Egypt for some real use! I dont anticipate any issues.

This is the second pair of Moab 3s I own; I also have a GORE-TEX pair for winter and wet seasonal use. I swear by my Moab 3s daily. As someone who suffers from shin splint pain, bad knees, bad lower back pain, Achilles Tendonitis and flat feet, any other shoe eventually hurts me and I find fatigue even walking a mile or so. Not my Moab 3s. In fact, I GAIN energy when I wear these shoes! The soles offer heel platform support that allow me to stand as if buttressed on all sides of my foot and the arch support cradles my flat feet. Keep these coming, Merrell. Dont change a thing, except maybe make a slip-on Moab 3 as well as other models in other colors.

Decent hiking shoe overall. Not too heavy, not super light. After some hiking and several miles wihh the a backpack, I would say that theyre not the most comfortable shoe, although they could still break in a little more. However, the traction is a major step up from my old Merrell Pulsates. I went from boots to a shoe and had no problems on that front. Three stars for the reaction/grip of the outsole and for the color of the shoes (minus the laces). Two stars off at the moment for comfort.

After 18 years, it was time for me to upgrade. I originally got my first and only pair of Moabs for a Christmas gift from my brother. If these hikers could tell a story of where theyve been, it would be quite the story. Ive had these hikers in 4 different countries, rain mud and snow. And let me tell you theyve been pushed through every test possible. Being an huge outdoors person I wore them everywhere. The comfort the fit the grip is unlike any other pair of hikers shoes or boots Ive owned. A sale came up at my local shoe store so decided to go with the new Moab 3 waterproof and yet again I was impressed! The same comfort, fit and grip was exactly the same as my previous pair only better. I only hope these new pair will last me just as long as my original pair. Heres to the start of the new year with a new era of Moabs!

I love these shoes. This is my second pair of Merrell's, and so far theyve both been the most comfortable shoe Ive ever owned. Ill most likely keep buying the Moabs series.

These shoes are fantastic. Theyre durable and well made but also lightweight and comfortable. These days it seems as though many companies are scrimping with material and therefore offer a lesser product . Not so with Merrell. They have been, and remain , a great shoe!

Excellent support and the new design attributes to the comfort. Definitely worth the upgrade from the Moab2. You will noticeably see the new features and definitely feel the superior support of the 10 Wide shoe!!!!

My favorite, solid, comfortable everyday work boot. My only complaint is the laces are slippery and tend to loosen if not double knotted. Hard to find boots wide enough, but Merrell did it again.

I bought these for my son's birthday. He has been wearing your shoes for years. His old pair said size 12 Wide so that's what I bought him. He says the new pair slips off his heels when he walks. He's afraid to get 11.5 Wide for fear they'll be too short & hurt his toes so he's keeping them. Other than that, he loves these shoes. He's been a customer for 10 years.

I've been a huge fan of the Moab 2 and ordered the Moab 3 immediately when I saw it on Merrell's website. Very supportive and incredibly durable and breathable, as always. Couldn't imagine backpacking with anything else. Did 16 miles yesterday and on the tough Arizona trail - these were amazing.

They are really comfortable and feel lighter than the older Moabs. My only complaint is that the shoestrings come untied when I run, unless I remember to double knot them. I ended up replacing them.

I wish these came in a N(arrow) width. As it is, I'll have to find an insole to snug them up a little or wear thicker socks - I bought the M(edium) not W(ide).

I still have the original Moab-I wore out the Moab 2 Waterproof and the Moab 2 vent is just now wearing out. I just bought the Moab Alverstone and also just ordered the Moab 3. Hoping the 3 feels as comfortable as the 2's. I do alot of hiking with my dog.
