Excellent fit and very comfortable right out of the box. The new Moab 3 seem to come slightly higher on the ankle than the previous version which I love, and they look great! I walk 5 miles a day in the city and often trail hike with these and they do just as well for me on concrete as they do on the trail. This is my 15th pair of Merrell Moab's over many years, and I now buy them 2 pairs at a time So I can rotate them.

I have to be honest not my first pair or style.. you all never disappoint. I am a teacher on my feet all day and these things are great and take a beating.

Fantastic hiking shoe. Mygo to from now on. Wore all over Spain. No blisters, no hotspots. True comfort.

Very comfortable. Excellent grips for hiking. I didn't even have to break them in. I would purchase again.

These are my third pair. They are long lasting and very comfortable.

Took them to Moab, UT. Broke them in on Arches Nat'l Park and Canyonlands.

I bought my first pair in 2009 for a six-day five-night hike through the mountains of Mexico which was an annual pilgrimage being done through a Catholic church with the hike ending in Talpa. These shoes not only were superb in grip, clinging to any rock, dirt or rough surface, but they were durable, waterproof and most importantly are the most comfortable footwear I've ever owned. Hiking 8-14 hours a day without breaking them was a concern, but I never even got a blister and it is as if they were already broken in when I got them. I have owned at least 1 pair ever since and will continue to. My father now wears Merrells and loves them too, agreeing with everything I've just said and I would recommend them to anyone!

Awesome everyday walking shoe. I use Merrell hikers for hiking, but I walk 2-3 miles every morning. Super comfortable and tons of support throughout the arch, heel and entire midsole.

The placement and lace up style of these shoes can be a little to snug when done up. I have had neurological pain in the dome of my foot when breaking these in. Fellow big men, (I'm 6'3 and 290 and walk 5-8km a day), Highly recommend doing 5-10 hours of walking and break in time before any long adventures. With that being overstated, these shoes look as advertised and feel incredible. They take a beating and keep on walking. 3rd pair in the same or similar series !

I have been wearing the moab for years as my daily shoe and decided to finally replace it and use it as a workshop. shoe since i dropped a bunch of paint onto it and switched to the moab 3 as my daily, fits the same and feels great off the bat

Great improvement to the Moab. More aggressive sole, refined styling, and feels like superior cushioning.

Has usual, good quality shoes that just fits right.

Merrell - MOAB 3, Hiking shoes are so comfortable. Since receiving these to sample, my husband has bought another pair of Merrell shoes. I look forward to trying a pair soon too. Highly suggest this brand.

We got these Merrell Moab 3 hiking shoes for our son to wear while he hikes trails. We had no idea what great shoes these really are! They are now his absolute favorite to wear! These are a pig suede leather and breathable mesh upper. They have a protective toe cap which is wonderful, and 100% recycled laces and webbing which is so great for the environment. They also have a removable footbed, and Merrell air cushion in the heel that absorbs shock and definitely adds stability. The outsole also provides grip, awesome traction, durability and flexibility. These fit great on my son's wide feet. He loved how comfortable these shoes were right away! Especially the arch support. He also loves how great they look. He's 14, so he loves how rugged and cool they look on him. I especially love how these are waterproof. He wears them in the rain all the time and they never get soaked. They always look good as new. I honestly cannot believe how well-made these hikers are. They are extremely durable too. I won't be needing to get him a new pair for quite a while. We highly recommend these Moab 3 shoes for their look, comfort, fit, durability, and their extremely high quality!! You will not be disappointed in these great hiking shoes!

Great shoes awesome quality so comfortable. Definitely my go to shoes.

I love my new Moabs, they fit great (true to size) and don't require any break-in period (at least for my short jaunts). The meaty Vibram soles give me confidence on any slippery incline and the arch support is probably the best in the industry. Some of Merrell's lighter shoe products are often a better price and sometimes fail to impress but the Moab 3 is worth every dime spent, rock stars of the shoe world. They keep me coming back year after year!
