These are great shoes. I walk a minimum of 10 miles daily on different terrain so, I need comfort, stabilty and rugged all at the same time....the Moab 3 gives me exactly that. I always go to Merrell first for my footwear needs (3 pairs a year) and have only been disappointed once.

I needed to replace my last pair of Merrill hiking shoes and selected the Moab 3 wide width. The fit is terrific and they are as comfortable as my last pair. And I don't doubt they will last as long as well. I am disappointed with my purchase however as the first time I was hiking through wet grass my feet were quickly soaked. Since my last pair were quite water resistant I assumed these were as well. My error for not reviewing the description thoroughly.

Disappointed. The MOAB 3 is a downgrade from the MOAB 2. There is little top protection for your toes, the stitching has loose threads all over, and the inserts offer no cushion. I wish I had returned these for a refund. I've owned 4 pairs of the MOAB 2. Sadly history will not be repeating itself

As someone who spends long days on their feet outdoors, I can't speak highly enough of the Merrell Moab3 hiking shoes. This is my fourth pair, and each one has exceeded my expectations.
One of the standout features of these shoes is their durability. Despite constant use in rugged terrain, they have held up remarkably well against wear and tear. The quality of construction is evident in every step, with no signs of deterioration even after extensive use.
Comfort is another area where the Moab3 excels. The cushioning and support provided by these shoes are unmatched, keeping my feet comfortable and pain-free even during the longest hikes. Whether navigating rocky trails or trekking through uneven terrain, I can always rely on the comfort of my Moab3s.
Overall, I couldn't be happier with my Merrell Moab3 hiking shoes. They offer the perfect combination of durability and comfort, making them an essential part of my outdoor gear arsenal. If you're in the market for reliable hiking footwear, look no further than the Moab3s. Highly recommended!

I received these shoes and as I went to try them on at home one of the pull tabs tore off. Have been a long standing customer of other Merrell models so really disappointed. Would not purchase again.

I have been a fan of these shoes for years, they are comfortable right out of the box and are very durable! I have a pair for hiking and a pair for work where I am on my feet on concrete 9-11 hrs a day, it's the only shoe I will wear and they never disappoint!!

I need more support than they offered. The mesh is too "mushy," allowing my foot to stretch the shoe and move around too much in the shoe. I went back to another brand that is fortified with leather inserts and strips of leather spaced at strategic points in the mesh fabric.

The Moabs are comfortable, the inserts are changeable, the shoes are waterproof and well constructed using good materials. I do light hiking and considerable urban walking. If my feet get fatigued, I can change the insert, and it is like having a different shoe on my feet.

I'd actually give this shoe a 4.75 out of five. Very good off-road hiking shoe that works well on pavement also.

Great all-around hiking shoe. Great for park trails and more rugged off-trail hiking. A bit on the heavier side, but I don't mind the weight, because they are so durable.

Good grippy sole, nice deep and wide shoe for orthotics. I find the top is soft and not as structured and no ability to lock the heel, which makes it a good shoe for level ground and not hills so much.

My new Moab 3 hiker is extremely comfortable. The neutral shade goes with anything. Love my new hikers.
