Merrell shoes with Vibram soles are my go-to shoes for working on metal roofing

Merrell are the only shoe brand I buy. Been wearing them for years and I am 61.

I bought these to use in the Baja 1000 race where we need good shoes. We spent a week in the desert and countless hours on our feet in the various pits along the way. They were very comfortable right out of the box even though I wore them around home for a week before leaving to break them in.

These are great shoes. I've been wearing them for a couple of weeks at work and, so far, they are great. They have nice deep tread. I'm hoping they handle snow and ice well.

I got these for hiking through six National Parks out West. I'm 72 years old and good foot and ankle support is very important to me. These were great boots! They were comfortable enough to wear on the plane from Philadelphia to Salt Lake and back and just as comfortable on the trail. Ran true to size. Recommended!

Took these out on a 35 mile walking pilgrimage over 2 days in the foothills of Oklahoma. Terrain was varied, from paved roads to dirt roads to gravel/rocky roads. Long, flat straightaways to sloping climbs. No time to break these in prior whatsoever. Did not get even one blister.

These were wide shoes with mid rise for extra support. I took them, brand new, to Utah for an 8 day adventure hiking trails in Zion, Bryce, and Cedar Breaks. I did about 10 miles per day. I even took these shoes about 1/2 mile up the Narrows in Zion. I decided to get my feet wet and figured the shoes would dry relatively fast in the desert. They did well in the creek bed and dried pretty fast. They lasted the trip and will do many more trips.

Good shoes, I've got about 2100 miles of mostly rocky trail on this pair. They are comfortable and rugged.

In a matter of weeks these shoes have been to the city, mountains and beach. They look great and are super lightweight and comfortable.
