Pictures don't show the tread coming out of the side like teeth that are unsightly and weird, they protrude outward. Buyer beware. Try them on at a store. Heal doesn't feel great to me. Would probably be okay for hiking, therefore 2 stars, but they look terrible due to the teeth like protuberances.

There is a seam that runs across the back of the heal and rubs. Blisters in less than two miles. Had to send them back.

I definitely recommend these shoes! My SO is a delivery truck driver and works in and out of the rain and in stores where it is slippery. He said these shoes are water proof and have a good grip on them. He usually wears 11.5 but 11 in these.

This was a nice hiking shoe that looked like a cross between a sneaker and a hiking show. Liked that it was waterproof (so they say) but it was way too narrow for a wide width.

I bought these shoes a year ago and absolutely love them. i purchased a pair of work boots that hurt my feet and I literally wear these as therapy to recover from those boots. Great fit, good construction, so comfortable!! Columbia can be proud of these shoes. I just hope they still make them so I can buy another pair.

Have had these shoes for a few weeks now. Very comfortable, easy to break in and look sharp. Bought as a pair of everyday shoes and so far, they fit the bill.

I would recommend their outdry shoes. They are water proof and work well for work. My SO has work his old pair for 3yrs before they finally started falling apart.

Although they look wider than my usual shoe they are a bit snug. If you are between widths defiantly order up. Having said that I should say I wear custom orthotics for flat feet which has caused knee pain for years. Since wearing these with the same orthotics I have had zero knee pain. Great support shoe! I do wish they would not add colorful accents though. I snipped of the rear tag.

Imagine a regular guy getting online to get trail/hiking shoes for the first time...yep...overwhelming! I liked the variety on the Columbia website and was able to narrow it down to 3 choices. They had a great deal on the pair I got, so I jumped at it! They've been the BEST! Zero break-in time for my particular model! They've won me over...Columbia trail shoes for me from here on out!

I have two pair of sneakers, these for walking in wet grass and uneven surfaces, and another for plain flat dry sidewalk etc. Excellent ankle support, legit waterproof.
