Husband loves this Christmas gift after turning his previous, beloved, robe of 20 years into Christmas stockings ;-). Husband claims it is warm and cozy. He likes the lining, even though the material is not as thick as his old robe this robe keeps him warmer. It is not so bulky and heavy but oh so comfy.

This is one of the most comfortable robes my husband has had. He loves how warm it is and wished there were PJ's made the same way.

6'1, 195, Medium is plenty roomy. Sleeves could be a half-inch longer for me, but not worth sizing up to a Large (I have a different Bean robe in Large and it is huge, I mostly wear it over clothes for maxed-out lounging when the house is cold). The plaid is super handsome and the flannel is butter soft. Bought the women's version for my wife and hers is even more impressive. As other reviewers have mentioned, the fleece lining is not as absorbent as terrycloth or a cotton towelbut that is why you have cotton towels. This is a luxurious robe, it's not a replacement for a bath towel. Dry yourself off before you put this on, and you should have no complaints.
