I love my bulky cardigan sweater! I've been wanting a big, cozy cardigan for a long time and finally found one before the Christmas rush. I purposely bought it kind of large so I could wrap up in it. I expect this sweater will be an heirloom my heirs will covet.

The fabric is soft. The colors are vibrant. The weight is just right.

This sweater is comfortable and very warm. The fit is very roomy, but not baggy.

My husband wanted a good heavy sweater, and this did the job!

This is my third rag wool shawl collar cardigan from L.L.Bean and I love them! They are very stylish and comfortable. Delighted that shawl collars are back.

When this handsome wool sweater went on sale, I bought it (in grey), thinking I could wear it next winter. Maine being what it is, though, It came off cold again, and I've been wearing it every day.

A comfortable, stylish sweater with a timeless look. The wool is heavy and well knit. Both very warm and very breathable at the same time. The fit is generous, so sizing down is a good idea if you want a closer, more modern fit. I typically wear a Large Tall (6'2" / 180lbs) from Beans, but a Medium Tall fits perfectly in this sweater.

So very cozy. A generous fit and glorious wool. Plus, my wife likes it on me. It will be a cool/cold weather office and reading companion.

It's odd that one should find solace in a rag wool knit, but aside from season or lower temperatures, the softness and weight of this sweater creates, somehow, a distinct sense of place. No, there aren't any chemical enhancements involved here, merely a stream of memories induced by the warmth, comfort, and tidy casual styling that, again somehow, engenders a feeling of ease and relaxation to long days of concentration intermittently offset by walks in brisk weather and nature's sounds and rhythms. Is a blue sweater responsible for all this? No, but you are how you feel, and this is how I feel when I wear it.
