I always wanted to get an open front sweater but finally did with this cardigan. I am glad I did. The wool isn't scratchy; I guess that is because it is lambswool. The sweater is heavy, but you don't feel the weight once wearing it. The warmth is almost immediately upon putting the sweater on. The arm length is a little long but not too long to fold and doesn't hamper anything except avoiding getting the sleeves wet when washing the dishes. My favorite sweater used to be a sweatshirt but now is my new cardigan. And it is beautiful.

I searched the Internet for a sweater with these features. L.L. Bean is the only place in this country. I could find one. Heavy rag wool that is ribbed. Cardigan, meaning it doesn't have to go over my head to remove. Shawll collar for comfort. Good baggy, loose fit. And very, very warm.

I think I found the perfect sweater. It looks good dressed up or down, and it's super comfortable. I like that it's 100% wool, not a "wool blend", and looks like it's made to last. It's warm, but not hot like acryllic or polyester can be.The pockets are handy for phones or remotes and the collar keeps my neck warm. All of this at a decent price, too. The more I wear it, the more I like it. In case you're wondering, I'm 6' and 290 lbs. The 3xl fits perfect.

This was a gift for my son and he absolutely loves this sweater. It looks really nice and he said it was very warm--he actually had me put it on and wear it around to see how warm it was. Very happy with this purchase!

Excellent quality, not thin or bulky, I am 5' 10", 126 lbs. I wear a size Small. My chest is 35", shoulders 18", sleeve length 32". I wear Beans flannel shirts under the sweater. The fit is comfortable. Not tight or too loose.

I love the Wool Cardigan. It's a classic with so many uses. Casual and dress with a tie.

Im 6'5" at 280 and the XXL worked for me. Nice and comfy. Something I prefer wearing when the weather outside is 45 degrees or less. I bought a shaving qizzmo to deal with any pilling. The piling has not been bad. I'll probably buy an additional sweater of a different color.

a worn spot has appeared in my grey rag wool sweater and it has left a hole. I can't wear it any more and it is only 2 years old. what can I do?

This was purchased as a gift. To me it's a Mr. Roger's type sweater. Again the recipient of this gift to me will appreciate the sweater because it's a Mr. Roger's type item.

I bought this for my husband and it is just perfect. Soft, warm and really classy. High quailty wool. Beautifully made. My husband loves it. So nice I might get him a second one in another color.We got a Large Regular and it fits him perfectly. He is 6' tall and weighs 180.
