I bought it with the double coupons so the price was reasonable after discount. Would not have bought it otherwise. It appears well made. Time will tell how durable it is. It's made in Jordan. The color is not what I expected. I would have returned it but didn't want to have pay shipping.

Very nice shawl collar cardigan, great green color as well. Not wild about the seam placement on the collar but a very worthy sweater for the money.

My husband really likes the green shawl collar cardigan. It is also offered in a Tall model, which fits him much better. It is a nice color and feels pretty soft. I would prefer that the collar be one piece instead of seamed on either side, but it isn't the end of the world. I deducted 1 star for that or it would have been 5 stars. Bean is a reliable company and you know the quality will be there.

Wish I could give it 5 stars comfort 5, fit 5, color 5, but the wool is pilling on the arms and the stomach with normal wear on a slim 59 year old man. That makes us sad.

This is a warm sweater. The shawl collar is a good feature. There are a few issues. It is larger than I expected. I am 6' tall, 150 lbs. The medium regular size is too large for me. Also, the buttons have not been stitched carefully. All of the buttons needed to be re-stitched. The wool pills, but this is not a big issue for me because it is a bulky sweater and the pilling is not prominent. Despite these issues, I like the sweater and wear it often.

My husband wanted a cardigan he could throw on to walk the dog, when the weather was too warm for a coat. This is a very nice, quality sweater, but the wool is somewhat itchy. If he wore long-sleeve shirts, it wouldn't be an issue, but he often wears short-sleeve shirts. If you're between sizes, size down. This is a very generous cut. This is going back, but I'll replace it with a cotton cardigan.

I ordered the "Natural" color. Went for LT and that fits me perfectly. Comfortable and warm sweater and has the style and cut I was seeking. Good wool. Only issue is that picture shows a uniform off white color and the sweater I received is more of a mottled/marled brown. I won't send it back unless they can match the illustrated color, though.

This cardigan is a perfect option for layering when the weather gets cooler and does the job to keep you warm. I recommend wearing a long sleeve under this since the material is a bit itchy. It's a nice thick material that keeps you warm but isn't as soft as i thought. Overall, it's a good cardigan!

I love this sweater although it doesn't come in women's. Ordered men's medium (my go to for loose comfort) and is perfect! Four stars for not having the color black, dark gray or camouflage available.

Love this sweater, but it has excessive pilling. Pilling is so bad, I doubt it will last long.

Just a great sweater to kick back in at home on a cold day.

Very warm . Sweater.\was much warmer than I thought so around the house little need for a shirt.

Beautiful classic sweater, perfect for chilly days.

This is my first experience with raggwool and I love the weight and warmth, but I'm disappointed that it is pilling so much after just a couple of weeks of wear. I normally wear a women's 1X in LLBean, but ordered a men's XL in this cardigan. It's huge. I should have gone with the men's L which would still have been quite roomy. I may try putting it in the dryer to shrink it a bit. Even with the pilling and ill fit, I don't regret my purchase because of the wonderful warmth!

This sweater is excellent. Cozy. Comfortable over a wide range of temperatures - from inside to into the lower 30s and high 20s with a flannel underneath. And looks great. While not itchy, it's not perfectly soft. But then again it's a rag wool sweater. All around great. I hope to have this for a very long time.

Very nice... really a 4.6. Maybe too nice (the news haven't worn off yet). Haven't decided if choosing an LT was a stretch (I'm 6 feet tall with a +4 ape index).

Bought ex/lg, tall. At 6'3'' and 235lbs, it fits slightly loose but not enough to be uncomfortable. I have long arms, and broad, formerly athletic shoulders but have to turn up sleeves an inch Frankly that is how I like to wear sweaters. Did not feel itchy as others have suggested.

Warm and well-made. My only criticism is that in the past the sweater had better - leather, I believe - buttons.

Exactly what I was looking for. Heavier material but fit somewhat snuggly not sloppy. The collar is perfect to pull up around my neck when I get a little chilly at night. Pockets in the perfect place. Only regret is there is no loop to hang it with. :( if it had that I'd give it 5 stars. Very happy otherwise.

solidly made, classic feel. Cut is a little too square for me, but I enjoy the feel.

I have a love hate relationship with this sweater. It is so close to being PERFECT ***EXCEPT*** It has no button at the neck line. Instead of the cold air coming down the back of my neck it now come in at my throat. I HAVE TO USE A POTATO CHIP BAG CLIP TO CLOSE THE NECKLINE!! LL, if you worked for me I would fire you for stupidity. I might as well stop typing because I just get madder and madder. Don't buy this sweater unless you have extra potato chip bag clips.

Great cardigan, good fit, nice and warm, could do with one more button at the top

Wore this at work. Fits well, looks great and warm, however left so much of a lint residue on my shirt that I had to change shirts. Clean it before wearing.

Love this sweater. It is almost perfect. It needs one more button at the throat line. I will probable go to a tailor and have some kind of button added. Such a shame to have come so close to perfect. Wake up LL you badly missed perfection.

An excellent cardigan. Nice and heavy and warm. My only complaint is that the weave is slightly loose which means that it seems to stretch a bit. This is particularly noticeable when you put it on a hanger and can see through the weave at the shoulders. Otherwise this gets full marks for being a great sweater.
