Very happy with it for price especially. This sweater is made of heavy, warm wool. I'm not sure it won't pill because the wool isn't super high quality, but i don't intend to wear it outside my living room anyway.

This sweater is warm and comfortable. I am 5'10" and around 280 pounds. I purchased two sweaters from LL Bean. One was an XXL and the other an XXL Tall. Wife and I really could not see any difference in the fit so save you money and do not buy the Tall size..

My husband's sweater was worn put, so I found this one that is very similar to it. He loves it! It was a birthday gift.

I ordered for my husband. He loved it. I did get him a Tall Large. Larges fit well but he has broad shoulders and sleeves are a little short or he ends up with a midriff. Gave it to him when it came in so he could try on. He wore it for travel and Thanksgiving, has told me many times how much he likes it. He ordered himself a second one today in Grey.

I'm very happy with the quality of the L.L.Bean sweater I bought. The service is excellent. The medium size turned out to be a little big for me and they exchanged it for me for a small size right away for a perfect fit.

I was looking for a versatile sweater to put on over a long-sleeved shirt when I'm feeling chilly around the house. This is exactly what I had in mind. The wool is soft (not scratchy like some other reviews mentioned) and incredibly warm. The elastic around the waist and cuffs helps them keep their shape and look clean and neat. The button front makes the sweater easy to put on and take off, and the shawl collar just adds an extra cozy touch. If I'm a little cold and I put it on, within five minutes I'm toasty warm again. Great sweater.

After three attempts to find the right size, this is the warmest I've been since ice formed on the bird bath. Afternoons and evenings are now comfortable w/o turning up the heat. Can't be happier!

This cardigan was worth every penny. It's substantial and well made with quality materials. I have a 36/37 sleeve and the tall size fit exceptionally well. This purchase has made me very happy.

I ordered a medium in this sweater when I normally order a large. I did this due to a customer review I read which was accurate. I have room to layer which I did today. The shoulder seams drop over my shoulders and the body has plenty of room. I do not have a gut but their is enough room in the body to allow some additional weight. The sweater is exactly what is described in the catalog.

I normally have to get a large to fit my arm length but found medium works perfect. Amazing quality and comfort. Gets lots of compliments. Highly recommend.

6'2", 230lbs or so, size 38 waist in most pants; this sweater fits great. I ordered the XL and returned it because it was too big in length and in the body. I've worn it twice (plenty of compliments, it's kind of a statement) and it's starting to pill, but I maintain sweaters with a pill shaver. This seems to be much higher quality than mall brands and I expect to have it for many years.

Exactly what I wanted and was looking for. I ordered an XXL because I like my sweaters bigger and blousy and the size is what I wanted. I will buy another one in maroon as well and clear out most of my old winter sweaters and give them to The Salvation Army.

Very warm sweater and great feel. It fits a little large, but in my opinion that's how I like a cardigan to fit. Been wearing it consistently since I got it and still love it.

This sweater is a winner. It's warm enough to wear on this fall's mornings walking the dog and stylish to wear with chinos on social occasions. Upstate NY can be cool in November.

Comfortable, super warm and a very nice fit. I'm 5'11" 44 chest and 32 waist. The medium fits me just right. Since it arrived a couple weeks ago, it's been on back nearly every day. Style wise, I think it strikes a nice balance between relaxed and not-too relaxed.

Chunky and warm. Sizing was what I expected, but for me the big draw is the large pockets. I do kinda of wish the collar had an extra button hidden underneath it to button it up to the neck, but that's more a complain with shawl-collar cardigans in general than this one in particular.
