I bought a charcoal sweater and a navy blue sweater. These are amazing sweaters and already are helping to make the Chicago winter survivable. 18F this morning! I wanted to by the navy sweater with the white markings but they are all sold out. Clearly Bean needs to stock more of these sweaters!

I was looking for a comfy, oversized sweater and this is the one! I opted for the men's because I like the thicker collar as compared to the woman's version of this sweater. It'll be a winter staple for years to come!

Excellent great for hunting!!! I wear it under my hunting clothing and I stay nice and warm.

Wear it all the time. I can somehow get by with just this sweater and a windbreaker when I ride my bicycle and it's 20 degrees outside. Love it. I know you're not supposed to machine wash them but I do anyways and it shrunk a decent amount but still fits very well.

I can't speak to some others' comments that this sweater isn't like it used to be. What i can say is that it's a beautiful piece, well-made, well-fitting and exceedingly comfortable. I recommend it without reservation.

This is a great sweater. Warm and great looking weave. And not a dog hair magnet.

Classic sweater is great for winter wear and pairs nicely with jeans, khaki or corduroy pants. Rugged but comfortable and warm. A winter staple for my husband!

I love wool clothes, not toxic plastic clothes. This is my first wool sweater and very pleased with it. Thick, tightly knitted, perfect weight and cut. I am 32 years old, 5' 8" and 155lbs, the medium fits perfect. Perfect length on the arms, and waist without hanging over my bottom. Relaxed throughout. I'm sure I will end up buying one more in the future. Super well made. Reminds me of the thick knitted wool gloves I wore as a kid. Remember to wash your wool clothes by hand and air dry! Highly recommend.

I am very particular about my clothing, but I wanted a wool sweater that felt quality while not being too precious for everyday wear. This sweater tics all the boxes. The wool is heavy and tightly knit, the neck and wrist openings are near and snug, and the fit for me was on point (I do have to size down to a S in LL Bean, however, from a M in most other brands, as I like a tailored fit). I also had the advantage of being able to try it on in person, which immediately did away with any doubts I had from the photos online or quality at this price point. This is one of the first purchases I've made from LL Bean and will definitely be back for more. As an aside, for the one-star reviews who were bewildered by the shrinkage, it's wool so yeahyou can't machine wash it

This is my 3 Bean Ragg wool sweater in about 40 years. The first two were worn constantly over many days of cold weather in Pennsylvania, New York and New Jersey. Receiving this new one was like welcoming an old friend.

I have been buying Bean's ragg wool swearters for forty years and they never disappoint. This is a truly beautiful, soft green, so I bought the men's size Small and it fits all right since I wear them over flannel shirts or turtlenecks. For several years, Bean did not offer these ragg wool sweaters for women, so I am used to buying the men's, but this particular color is good for either sex.

After cleaning out the old COVID-vintage sweaters, we needed to get something new. This was it. A nice, simple crewneck - warm enough but not too heavy. Perfect choice.

Perfect fit though sleeves a bit long for this short-armed man so he turns them up. Nice blue color that is brighter than his old blue ragg sweater with the buttons.

Used some Christmas money on this sweater, which is out of my usual budget. I have become inseparable from this sweater.

The sweater is nice and warm. It's not super soft. It's borderline scratchy against the skin, I usually wear a long sleeve underneath but its not the end of the world to have it against your skin. I've worn it about a dozen times as a good way to turn down the thermostat while working from home but the arms are starting to pill since they rub against my arm rests on my chair. I am 6'3" 215lbs and the large fits nicely. The large tall was a bit too long, but there seems to be a variation in the sizing since I got another LL Bean sweater and I needed the large tall. Overall I am happy with the purchase (I even bought a second one) since the price was right and I think I'm going to get a lot of mileage out of this as long as I take care of it. I also just don't care that much about pilling.

I'm very happy with this wool sweater. It's a nice shape, and the fit is perfect. It's my only blue sweater, and it's a pretty shade of navy.
