Sweater is thick, warm, heavyweight wool, but it's well-tailored and true to size so it's not bulky. The price is very good for a 100% wool sweater of this quality. I shopped for sweaters online and was ready to buy a higher priced, well-known British brand but decided on this instead when I saw it in the LLBean store. The quality really stands out when you see it IRL and feel it; it's as good as sweaters priced twice as high or more. Rag wool is slightly variegated, giving the sweater a homespun look in the best way; it's especially nice in the charcoal and natural color.

The sweater's quality and fit are excellent. I gave it to my husband for Christmas and he loves the warmth and breathability. A very rugged and manly looking sweater. Would absolutely recommend!

Perfect fit. 6ft7in -- 215 lbs. I was wavering between the Large Tall and XL Tall. Opted for the XL tall and Happy I did. Have not washed yet but with proper care im confident the size will not be affected.

Love the color and style! My husband loves the gold/tan, and we have been on the look out for the return of this color for the past few years. This newer color is richer, and handsome, soft, and styling is perfect for his L size. I bought this sweater to go over a base layer for my trip to the Isle of Skye. We went late October so the weather was cold and rainy the entire time. Kept me incredibly warm and dry. Great construction and fit. I'm a bigger guy and the arm length is sometimes a problem with sweaters but this one fit perfect.

I own 6 of the Ragg Wool Sweaters. They are the best warm sweaters for the winter. They fit well and wash great. After washing, I give it a good stretch and lay flat to dry. I'm a 5'1" female and order a Medium Tall. The fit is great, pulls down over my hips and doesn't let the cold air seep in. My new favorite color is Rosewood.

Made from lambs wool, looks great, not another thin cheap sweater. Color is great (navy).

Nice soft tan color, plenty of room unlike the previous speckled tan offered for past few years.I took a chance on purchasing this, as the Tan and Navy in past 5 years run small and are scratchy. Prayers are answered! It is the soft Ragg yarn of previous years, and the sizing is roomy and comfy for a mens large. Waiting for the royal blue to return. Til then my husbands winter daily wear is his gold and tan Beans Ragg crew sweaters. Love them!
