Good size, xl long enough for a taller man to wear, falls slightly below waist on my 6'4" son. The weight is good too. Not as thin as some.

Nice navy sweater. It was a little oversized for my husband, but the workmanship seems to be great. A great gift you will be proud to give. However my husband is still clinging to a 30 year old favorite. An LLBean navy sweater that he has been wearing year round. Only now is it showing signs of wear. How I wish I could surprise him with one like that , or three of four. We both had them in all colors. Over the years nothing anywhere at any price has come close.
