My absolute favorite sweater. I bought four of them. Cotton sweaters are the best. Warm but not hot like wool. Indestructible and comfortable. I receive compliments for these sweaters all the time. I hope L.L. Bean keeps carrying them.

The Large size I would definitely recommend if you're close to my size : 5'9", 175 lbs. I found the arms on the Regular size sweater also too tight and my arms are neither super thin .. nor fat. The sweater itself (in the Large size) is great, hangs just right, and very comfortable

This sweater fits me perfectly, it is well made, great for layering, and very comfortable. It is a great weather for Texas winter weather.

Extremely good quality for the price. Lot of flexibility as it can be used as a pullover that can be easily dressed up or down. Roomy (but not baggy) for its size which is what I want in a sweater.

Easy, comfortable rollneck sweater is the perfect weight to wear without an undershirt. Great deep blue color gives me a break from my usual black and grey.

Good material and construction. Many have commented that the fit was good. I found this to be baggy, too large, tent-like. I am a 39 or 40 in a jacket. Usually a medium, I ordered a small. Needed to intentionally shrink it. Now the shoulders sit where they should, but it still looks like a bag. The neck got tighter which is important on a crew for keeping warm. Its OK, but not special. Fit is the most important quality on the list. Land's End had a heavy roll neck last year that had a better fit, so I know it can be done.

Very comfortable sweater. I wear an XL in most cases, but an L for LL Bean products - traditional cuts.
