Love the product. Hate that it shrunk a ridiculous amount. Returned it. I love the L.L. Bean unshrinkable T-shirts, and thought these would be similar, but I was wrong.

These were my husband's favorite PJ's . . . until they were washed. In cold water. And dried on low/delicate heat. They shrank many inches. So, we've now ordered a larger size in hopes that they do the same thing but will be perfect when they shrink.

A surprisingly, for LL Bean, poor quality product. They are not well constructed or robust. Biggest fault was it had significant shrinkage, 2+ Inches, in first wash. I don't wear them any longer. Still trying to find quality pajamas for cold nights.

Unless your inseam length happens to the one LL Bean chooses, you are stuck with the usual problem with men's pajama bottoms with no elastic cuff.
The pant's inseam will be too short, so you almost have capris, or the inseam will be too long that you trip over them.
This is the reason why most men's pajamas have gone to having you buy pants and tops separately.

They started falling apart a year after purchasing them. I would expect something that I would just sleep in to last 5 to 10 years.

I have a pair of Pajamas that are a blend of cotton and rayon. They were great. This set is 100% cotton with cuffs and is much warmer than my current set. I wish I had looked at the material blend before I ordered these Pajamas. Way too warm unless you keep your bedroom below 65 degrees at night.

I was originally thrilled to find these --- the knit pajama style was just what my husband had been searching for. Pajama fabric, feel, style and fit was perfect out of the package. However, when I washed them according to the care instructions the pant inseam shrunk 2-3". The top's sleeves and body length did NOT shrink. Makes for an awkward fit and now my husband will not wear them. Going back to flannel.

After moderate usage, the seams in the pants are coming apart. These felt flimsy from the outset, but I ignored my gut feeling and hoped they'd be somewhat durable based on the price. No go. Wish I knew how to sewHappy ending: I've reverted back to wearing my $15, 20-year old sweatpants for my pajama bottoms. Now, that's durability!

Despite carefully following the washing instructions, the pj pants have shrunk!
Extremely disappointing given the price point

Not the warm pajamas that I was looking for. Would be okay if I lived in North Carolina. Retuned them right after they were delivered.

The pjs fit great until they were washed (I followed washing instructions). They shrunk so much they no longer fit! $85 for a one time wear is terrible!
Disappointed,

Massive shrinkage with every wash-cycle.
Fit well at the beginning but now ridiculously small.
Returned

The pants glad a seam that was not sewed shut in the leg. My son-in- had his mother sew it shut.

I remember a time when L.L. Bean's products were made in the USA. I loved LL BEAN so much I even traveled on LEAVE from CA to MAINE to visit the main store and pose in front of the BIG BOOT. As a US Army female Veteran I want quality products made in America. This is important to me. This product was made in Cambodia, and since the reviews stated this item shrunk, order the next size up, that is why I order an XL for my (male) roommate who is usually a large. The shirt was 26 inches across, both him and I could have fit in it. The PJ pants, were of a thin cotton, not great for winter, in fact from the pic the pajama bottoms looked like they were made of sweatshirt material, so that is what I thought the PJ set would be like. It WAS a tradition for my family members who are serving apart from each other to get matching PJS so we can feel together even though we are apart. That LL BEAN tradition unfortunately had to stop because of the poor quality since 2019. They are using cheaper materials and higher pricing. $89 for pajamas of cheap quality. No, thank you LL BEAN.

The XL fit me perfectly until I laundered them. I followed the instructions on the tag (i.e., cold wash with Tide, tumble dry on my GE dryer's extra-low setting) and they still shrank considerably. The sleeves and legs are now about 1 1/2 inches too short and the shirt bottom barely hits my waist. I'm returning them, but because they were so comfortable I might try ordering the XXL to see if they will fit me well post-laundry. If they fixed the materials/shrinkage issue, or perhaps offered a tall size with extra length in the sleeves and legs, that would be nice. It's a shame that these didn't measure up to L.L. Bean's typical quality, because they are very cozy pajamas.

I got this for my husband birthday gift. After I washed it before the first use, it shrank and now it is too small for him. Wasted $90.00.

These seemed to be well made and at first fit fine. The sleeves were just right, the pants a bit long but not too much. But the first time I washed them, in cold water per the directions, they shrank. The sleeves were now three inches too short and the pants were now above my ankles.
I don't recommend anyone to buy these.
Don't know why Bean sells such a poor product.

I have been an LL Bean customer for many years and until now I have had only positive experiences. I bought a pair of these pajamas in the Fall of 2021. At first I loved them. They fit well and were comfortable. About the third time I washed them, the top shrunk. It has continued to shrink until now I am wearing something akin to a misshaped medium.

I ordered a standard Large. I'm 5-10. The pants were perhaps a foot too long!

I purchased these 1 month ago. Very comfortable pajamas and I was glad that I purchased them. But yesterday I noticed there was a tear in the crotch seam. Today I saw the material had also torn in the front of the bottoms. I've never owned an LLBean item that wore so poorly. Plus I've only worn them about 10-12 days total. Fortunately I have an LLBean store nearby and I will be returning them.

Poor quality fabric. It had a couple of large pinholes in the fabric when I received it (after a long delay in shipping) and I should have returned it then. The fabric is also flimsy and sizing baggy. After washing a couple of times, the fabric developed more holes and blotchy fading. This is one of two purchases that simply were poor quality that I made from LL Bean in the past few years since I discovered them in my town. Not the quality I have come to expect from LL Bean-- which is generally very good.

I wore this Pajama twice. I noticed the threads are coming a part in the pants and big hole in them as well. I would not recommend due to the workmanship.

I originally bought 2 pair. One large, one extra large. Needed the extra large because they both shrank terribly after first wash. Thought maybe I used warm water first time. Bought a third pair extra large. Shrank after first wash in cold water and cool dry. Just not comfortable. Shame of it is, they are great otherwise. Great weight, soft, warm. But, they have proven to be a poor product because of shrinking.
